Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Los Angeles Lakers

Thursday 5* FREE NBA Play Cleveland Cavaliers -5.5

The Cavaliers have lost six straight and are 1-9 in the last ten. LeBron James looked refreshed in his return on Tuesday after missing the previous eight games. However, one of the only teams that have been playing worse than the Cavaliers is the Lakers.

L.A. has lost their last two games and are 3-7 in the last ten. Mostly everyone on the Lakers has really been struggling and only posted 75 points in their last game on just 31.5% shooting. With LeBron well-rested and playing against rival Kobe Bryant, the Cavaliers should easily cover the spread.

Kyrie, Love, and LeBron are looking to get their season back on track and will have an opportunity to do so on national television Thursday night. LeBron usually tends to have huge games when playing against other superstars, especially in L.A. and on TNT.

Cavaliers have taken 10 of the last 16 games head to head. Lakers are 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven games vs. NBA Central.

Good Luck, Razor Ray.

Newsletter College Basketball Prediction From Jason Sharpe

Take #585 Belmont (+9) over Murray State (9 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 15)
The Belmont Bruins are a solid program who won’t back down as year in and year out head coach Rick Byrd seems to get the most out of this team. This year’s group hasn’t caught many breaks as they have had some issues with keeping guys healthy off and on throughout the year. This isn’t a very deep team, so when they been down a man it’s been a huge drop off for them. They come into this one off a loss last game as they lost on the road at Eastern Illinois. The Bruins allowed EIU to hit 68% of their two point shots in the game while also going an absurd 7 for 43 from 3-point land against them. Belmont joined the Ohio Valley Conference a few years ago and they’ve been rock solid so far, going 14-2 in the regular season in both years. EIU was also red hot coming into that game, having won 9 of their last 10 games overall. Look for a much more focused and intense effort on both ends of the floor from the Bruins in this one. Take Belmont plus the points here.
