It’s kind of funny how when all weather related attention was attentively keeping watch on Chicago, that it was New Orleans getting snow flakes falling from the sky. But still, even without any precipitation, the weather in Chicago should indeed be a factor for a dome team who finds themselves 1~5 so far on the road. Expected to be a bit below 20-degrees with winds between 10 and 15 m.p.h., the weather will certainly take a bit away from a pass first team like the Saints.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

That’s why I favor the Chicago running attack tonight versus a Saints defense ranked 21st in the NFL against the rush and allowing 113 ypg. Matt Forte, the NFL’s 7th leading rusher, will help the Bears control the clock and keep the New Orleans offense on ice. Look for Chicago to end the Saint’s season for a third year in a row.
My Play:
2* CHI -3 +100<o></o>

"The Bears are 15-5 in games where the game-time temperature was 20 or below. There is not accurate trend info on the Saints in temps below 20. It appears the Saints have played only a few games in such conditions in their 42-year history. But perhaps a better indicator may be that the Saints have only played 23 games outdoors in states above the Mason-Dixon lines in December or January. They are a respectable 11-12 in those games. That’s the good news. The bad news: The Saints have never won a game against an NFC North opponent in an outdoor game in December. They're 0-5."
