Wheather i play or not CK picks i unlike always appreciate the fact he is sharing with us and appreciate him for taking the time to try and help as well as sharing his own experience with us.period.
yes look like teams like oakland and padres finding some offense on the east coast.but for someone to say these totals was the best.heck the under in la got hit harder today than either oakland or boston.these guys i just cant win.if i post a opinion someone count it a lost against me,if i post a game opinion early in the days im starting several threads etc.im not honest, i dont do this or i dont do that.......getting sick of this every nite ...ck

SP on the same note i do not like to see plays post 20 hrs in advance either before a game ,as too much can happen before game time.we all have our ways of playing the games.i know at the end of the year i make money in most sports.that the bottom line making money.........gl on your plays but the old saying if it not broke dont fix it goes here........ck

What SP is saying is that sure no problem in posting last minute or 30 minutes prior to game time. That's cool, but these plays you post are always steamed? So one has to conclude you are watching the steam and basing your plays on steam and not team performance or pitching/batting stats or roster movements. If your playing the steam than I think it's only fair to state that. For example, you might have liked the Oak/TB Under 10 from early in the morning. But I think the steam on the Under is what made you pull the trigger. If people are gonna tail you I think you have to let them know which plays are capped and which are steam plays.
And because you don't keep a record and don't state your lines/juice paid it's hard to gauge how you are doing. 4-1 record could be meaningless if that 1 loss was for 7* and the 4 winners were 2* each???
You bring this upon yourself so don't blame others when they question your plays re: juice and steam.
Russell im not in this to win the most units a year in a given sport,i have been doing this too long to get caught up in that.i love most all sports and the games i post i play myself.if i can win on a reg thing and maybe help out a little that all i can ask for.i ask for nothing but to try to have some fun in here and win some cash, but do you see me going into threads and bs a poster no, i see a lot that i could but i respect that poster enought to say nothing, too bad it does not go both ways.........gl with all your plays..ck
i dont think it should matter to ck if they question his plays....he knows what hes up, and people wouldnt keep asking him for plays if he wasnt winning them loot...ultimately, i dont think he is trying to build a base of pay customers...so the only thing that matters is his own account balance...if people give u shit, and what records, untis, etc....fuck them...they dont have to follow u if they dont wanna....im gonna make 8-9k tonight and i dont know if one person tailed my plays despite posting them........good for u ck...do what makes u happy
I don't see the difference in if the game has steamed or not, he's not playing all of them and as we know they don't all win anyway. I chase it at times, I got a "sleepy local" so I know what games are getting steamed. I guess I just don't see why that's a big deal, if the game wins and CK shares it with some of the others than that should be all that matters IMO. Some people don't have the means or the knowledge to know which games are being steamed, hell some don't know what steam is. Even if that is all he's providing (which I don't agree with) I still wouldn't think that's a big problem, some people that don't have that info might appreciate it.
Now on the recordkeeping part, I have to agree with some of you. I really wish he would keep one in a sport like baseball, especially now that it appears other guys are starting to do the same thing. A win loss record really is meaningless in predominately ML sports like baseball, pucks and so on. The flip side of that though is CK doesn't go around gloating about his record, he isn't keeping one for the year claiming he is 120-35 or anything like that. He does it one short week and then starts over. He also isn't playing all -260 chalks to make his record look better, in fact some of his plays are dogs from time to time. I see why you guys spoke up, I really do, I just think what CK does offer is valuable to many posters, some of them appreciate what he brings to the forum. That's what it's all about.
Bottom line, I have seen CK both here and another forum long ago and he's always been a class act that does nothing but try to help others win. I don't agree with it all but he has a way he likes to do things and it works for him. Because of that I overlook the part I don't agree with and just focus on the good things he brings a forum. Makes life a lot easier. I hope we can find a way people to agree to disagree and move on. I'd hate to see us run off a guy over how he keeps his records. Like I said, he's not a big braggard that is keeping a season long record and trying to decieve us in order he can go tout soon, he's like the rest of us just trying to make a buck here or there betting sports. Believe me if he was a tout I would be on his ass too. Anyway I hope we can live with what he does bring and ignore the stuff we might do differently, he's a good dude and I would hate to see him leave. Peace.
