Many expect OKC to come out pumped about trying to end that 19 Game Winning streak, but on the other hand the Spurs probably want to make a statement to the Thunder, with the playoffs right around the corner...

Always hard to know what Pop is gonna do with his players.....spurs played monday, wed and again tonight. He may be careful with minutes for duncan and parker.....spurs really don't care about these types of streaks.

They are only up 3 games on Thunder for homecourt and would be down in tiebreaker with a loss.

Considering how their season ended last year I'm sure they will put their best foot forward.

You could be right....however, even with last year, i dont think a team like SA is gonna pull out all the stops to avoid losing home court. They grab a rebound last year and they win in 6 games on the road.....but we'll see what he does. Pop is certainly unconventional these days

After losing something like that you are going to value homecourt more. They're already up 3 games so its not like they need a herculean effort to secure it.

The Heat tracked every potential rebound that Kawhi Leonard got his hands on in that series, he got every single 1 except the 1 Wade got his hand on to bat out.

No word yet on who's starting tonight..I checked the local Spurs forum and twitter/etc..can't find anything. Normally I'd say Pop would rest at least Duncan and Ginobili, but if you think about it, going all out tonight would probably allow the Spurs to take it easy and basically rest the remainder of the season. I noticed that Duncan and Parker played "limited" minutes last night so now I'm thinking they might treat tonight like a playoff game and essentially lock up the western conference..but with Popovich...WHO KNOWS?! :)

If making a wager tonight, don't bet on Pop laying down...

They are 4 games up, if they win tonight 5 games with only 6 to play...

Plenty of time to rest during those last 6 games....

Only bets that should be made on this game is when you handicap both teams at full strength. Not whether pop sits anyone. I'd be shocked if he did.

I fully expect pop to rest guys. He is up 4 games with 7 to go....he basically already has home court locked up.

they play the lakers, minny, phoenix, memphis....those are already 3-4 wins. other 2 are dallas and Houston with 2 and 3 days rest before. Their chances look good without having to push it too much tonight.

Pop is crafty....I don't think anymore statements need to be made. He will try to win, but not with the best players....sad thing is I remember one year he rested everyone vs the heat and still almost won (covered for sure).....THAT makes me scared

they are up 3 in loss column but OKC would win tiebreaker

I dunno I think they fight tonight, don't have a game until Sunday after tonight and last night vs GS they cruised

if you really fully expect them to rest guys then just bet OKC -4.5 right now, the line will move to 7+ after the announcement

and that is all assuming OKC wins out. which I doubt they will

I agree they fight....Pop wants to win and his system always allows for SAS to have a chance....but I envision very little minutes and some spurs maybe even in street clothes....can't play SA tonight for me...OKC or nothing

I agree with defying that I'd be surprised if people sit. This is only their 3rd game this week and they're off until Sunday. We'll see though

OKC won. Spurs only gave their stars a portion of the minutes they'd regularly play. Pop doesn't care about a winning streak at all.
