Damn! I went 0-7 -7.00 yesterday! What a beating! I thought this was supposed to be as close as flipping a coin. I guess it's possible to flip a coin and get the same side 7 times in a row. Other guys on here have stories of similar woes.

I was going to bet on Atl and Col under today but didn't get my bet in on time. They look like they will be covering so maybe today will be different. Keeping it light due to yesterday's losses.

Garcia/Traber
Neither pitcher is doing well and both teams are hitting the ball well (with the exception of Tuesday's game). Seattle was heavily favored on Wed but got beat by 4 runs so this falls into my flip-flop rule. That rule states that the favorite that got beat the night before will come back large in the next game.

Zambrano/Jarvis
Neither team hitting well with neither pitcher giving up a lot of runs.

I follow ur plays Big but today we r on the opposite side..

I m on CLE today, no solid reason for that but this series should be symmetric..

over looks strong, especially with Garcia problems recently. And Seattle could get over by themselves or most of it if needed. I love taking over when a pitcher is "working on mechanics" such as Freddy and Traber is one of those reliever-turned-starters this year and can give up a lot of runs in any given inning with that whip.

Traber lated only 2.0 IP and Garcia 1.2 IP last time out. Someone is going to have a bad day. I see 6-7 runs early then cruise to the over.

bah, Seattle leaving ppl on base left and right. One of those nights. Need some late inning rallies. It could still happen.

Good points all dottom as to why a person would pick the over. Sometimes using logic just doesn't cut it though.

I went against one of my fundamental principles here and that is to never bet on a team that is inconsistent. Seattle has scored 10-8-2-6 runs in their last 4 games and Cleveland has scored 7-5-1-10 runs. Which team will show up? Who knows?

How many times will I bang my head against the wall and bet on such inconsistency? Who knows?

Hang in there Big Game. All you can do is cap the game to the best of your ability. If I had to do it again I would still play that over. Traber had a career game. With his whip and era this game should have flown over. Bats just didn't show up. they hit him, just no clutch hitting. Thats the breaks. Hang in there, and don't panic or try to hard. that is how losing streaks are started. Play each day seperately. The only difference for me is that when I streak good I press the bet a little. When I am cold I cut back until I feel I am seeing clearly again.

Too many people eat like a bird and shit like an elephant. Avoiding this is the real key to money management.

Thanks for the good advice oh wise one. I too bet like you do with the hot and cold streaks(except for the w/l).

You make a good point when you mention not to get down when one game doesn't turn out like it was forecasted. I went over 80% last week on my totals and 75% on my RL games so I'm sure it will come back.

I just have to fine-tune these transition games when the home team comes off a long road swing and gets encouragement where there was none before. I still have a lot to learn after only 3 weeks of capping.
