Colorado –1.08 over L.A. ANGELS http://www.pinnaclesports.com/?refer=xspwagers<o></o>
After coming in here and hammering the Angels 11-2, the Rockies have now won 17 of its last 18 games. This has to be one of the best runs in history and that’s saying something. Colorado is doing everything right. They’re hitting with runners in scoring position, they’re moving guys over, they’re stealing bases, they’re getting tremendous pitching both in relief and starting and to top it all off their confidence is soaring through the roof. Ubaldo Jiminez has absolutely filthy stuff and is at the top of his game right now with a 3-0 record over his last three games to go along with an ERA of 2.66. Jiminez and the Rockies is a combination that’s about as live as it gets. Sean O’Sullivan’s firt game in the majors looks very pretty on paper. 7 IP – 5 hits – 1 run and an ERA of 1.29. That’s nice, it really is but it was against the light-hitting Giants and that team has made many pitchers look good. I’ll focus more on what O’Sullivan did before that. He was a Triple-A pitcher for the Salt Lake City Bees. In 10 starts he was 5-2. However, his ERA was 6.02 after he allowed 61 hits and 33 earned runs in 49 frames. So, what we have here is a pitcher who couldn’t get minor-leaguers out and that’s facing the hottest show on earth. Play: Colorado +1.07 (Risking 2 units). <o></o>

Minnesota +1.09 over MILWAUKEE http://www.pinnaclesports.com/?refer=xspwagers<o></o>
Give me a strikeout pitcher against a team that’s never seen a pitch they didn’t like and I’ll take my chances. Francisco Liriano is having a horrible year but his demeanor changes when he faces these Brewers. In two career starts against Milwaukee, Liriano is 2-0 with an ERA of 0.69. In those two games covering 13 innings, he allowed just five hits while striking out 17. Liriano is also showing signs of returning to form, as his 3.79 ERA over his last three games will attest to. Also consider that the Twinkies are 50-17 against the NL over its last 67 games and that, too, is significant. The Brewers were just swept in Detroit and prior to that they swept the Indians. However, against Cleveland they were losing late in all three games and it’s a minor miracle that won a game, let alone swept. The Brewers are fortunate that they’re not on an eight-game losing streak because they lost the previous two games before the Tribe series. Jeff Suppan is 1-3 at home with an ERA of 5.47. In his last three home starts he faced the Marlins, White Sox and Cubs and looked awful in all of them, allowing 24 hits in 16 frames. He’s also allowed six bombs at home in 26 innings and overall the league is hitting .314 off Suppan at Miller Park. Play: Minnesota +1.09 (Risking 2 units).
