Fortunate to avoid yesterday as there were just so many favorites, the dogs had not enough value. Today I see some value. Going to go with Loyola again. They are a much improved team, as previously posted. They are in same conference, so conference dog, faced twice last year, both close games, in fact both games 1 and 2 point games at the half. And St. Peters may have not key player who stretched defenses. Generous points here with value on the improved dog.
Fordham was a dud last year, but they did not stand pat, they went and got some juco help, look tougher inside. Should play well with Iona, lower socring defensive game. Iona just never lives up to hype, carries way to much of a number. This could be a nailbiter, points are good.
South Alabama similar to Fordham, improved depth and talent, with a lot of juco transfers. Maybe 4 out of 5 starters. But they came in with experience, the quick fix variety. Still some atheltes and size. Scrappy team will hang tough with Miss St. team still basking with last year's improbable run. They do not catch anyone by surprise this season. Only crushed one team, some div 3 patsy. Played same situation last year, during the Cinderella season , 10 point result. With improved talent on S. Bama, and no fear from Miss St. This is a sleeper. Add to that Bulldogs next game Zona, there is a huge lookahead. I will take the big points in this one.
All of these meet or beat my criteria. It is my selection process. Yesterday, 30 more games, none playable. Today 3. I need some value from both teams. Both sides. Plus I prefer double digit points. Let's rock!
