On TNT, they have been pumping this movie for 2 weeks. Well, the day is finally here. Showtime 8 Est. My question. Is it worth the time to watch? Thanks

If it takes away from your gambling, pass on it.

Otherwise, take a peek.

Well, I only have one TOP GUARANTEE PLAY OF THE DAY on my hot line for the night, so I'll take a gander and see if it can keep my attention.

Neocon revisionist history mixed with some mildly witty repartee between Ice Cube and Marky Mark.

I would use it as something to switch to during commercials if you're watching any remotely engaging sports event on another channel

Thanks Dante.

My life is a trainwreck right now....too busy for hobbies. I've tried to read a few threads here and on a few poker forums. Poor Matt posted a thread asking me to turn on my AIM and I didn't see it for probably a week and I didn't turn on my computer at home for a similar amount of time. Put it this way, in the last 3 weeks I've probably played a grand total of 3 hours of online poker and hit no golf balls (as in NONE..not a single ball at a range or on a course). If you knew anything about my golf game you would know that the next time I play I will barely be able to hit the ball after such a long layoff.

Anyway...thanks again for the post.

Less than 5 hours away Judge. The suspense is really getting to me. I must grade this one myself. I will be reporting my rating after seeing this movie, but SS does have me worried a bit about the editing stuff.

I personally will never watch a movie if it is EDITED, as you are then not seeing it the same way the director intended it to be seen...

I would rather pay the 3$ & rent the DVD....

This movie is a touch off the wall, however, very enjoyable... Good Movie... One of the few that I would actually watch twice..

I am not sure it can beat my all time fav..Roadhouse

Can it match Star Wars, The Rock, or Grease?

Tombstone?? No way!

I agree. Pass on the edited version as there are some "special effects" on the DVD. I purchased the DVD when it first came out for $8!

I actually saw this movie years ago while my buddy and I were in Vegas. We got so worn out from gambling the first 2 days we were there we needed a break, and this happened to be playing. We still laugh and joke about flying all the way to Vegas to go see a movie.Wasn't that bad, but not that great either....
