*Thread contains spoilers* Who's going to watch the "Dexter" season finale on Sunday?

Wow...I just found out the next season doesn't start for 9 months.

Just finished watching it. I agree with everything you said, especially about the last few minutes of the show. DDK walking out with Harrison, the boat coming along, etc had me rolling my eyes, but his speech while DDK was on his table and reaction to seeing Deb was fantastic.

I was wondering why he didn't have his normal kill room set up for DDK, but when Deb walked in, it made sense - otherwise they couldn't film Deb's reaction to seeing Dex kill DDK.

I got pulled into the show because the writing (and acting) was so good, but this last season the writing got real sloppy and contrived.

My prediction for season 7: Because of Deb being head over heels madly in love with Dexter, she will take 1-3 episodes to come to terms that Dexter is a serial killer, but he'll confess to her that it's only murderers and bad people, etc., and not only will she cover up for Dexter with her power in Miami Metro, she will help him out with at least one killing.

Someone should mark that this thread contains serious spoilers. A lot of people watch this stuff delayed, streaming or on DVD. This season was
the first one I watched streaming and not on DVD (thanks mopvideo.com).

Granted, I usually side with spoilers being a terrible thing but this thread was specific to the Dexter season finale so it was 100% known there were going to be spoilers. Now, if the thread was just titled "Dexter discussion" or "All Things Dexter" thread and then people were ruining episodes, I agree, there needs to be spoiler tags.

I concur. I'll even go so far as to speculate that the person she helps him kill will be the creepy intern dude who will most likely be next seasons bad guy. So say goodbye to the little cutie playing Batista's sister/Dexter's nanny. She will also probably be Dexter's love interest.

Not the best season ever but still great. As for the spoiler stuff, I avoided this thread until last night (finally am caught up) so if I hadn't seen the series finale, wtf would you be in this thread.

Shameless I've heard is good, will give it a shot now that Dexter is over. Boardwalk Empire, that show seems boring to me. I will start season 2 shortly but the first season was just "ok" to me. But a lot of people like that show, go figure...

I thought I read this season was the last one for Dexter, but can't be the case with that ending.

i've heard dexter has signed for 2 more seasons. shameless is a good one, start from season 1.
