on laurence maroney, he has had high expectations in the past and certainly has the ability to be a great rb but lots of questions around his durability and other areas of his game. i personally think if he stays healthy he will do well this year. but want to hear some other opinions

i always get him every season, but think i might pass on him this year or take him in one of the last rounds.

I guess the question is, when would you consider taking him?

He hasn't shown much in the way of breaking out, he's injury prone apparently, and the Pats offense doesn't really give RBs a ton of opportunity (given how many RBs they play and how often they're passing).

Flat out forget Maroney. He's the definition of bust. He can't get by the line of scrimmage and can't catch the ball. If the Pats weren't committed to such a large contract he'd be long gone. He stinks. With Taylor, Morris, and Faulk in the Pat's RB rotation Maroney is all but worthless in FF.

Good luck.

I wouldn't waste a draft pick on him. He's going to be a 3nd or 3rd option for them at RB.
