Right now it is a PK. Wondering what everyone's thoughts are on this game I know there's a lot of question marks still

i honestly think the saints got this one... it doesnt really matter who Brees plays he is gonna dissect the defense, and a gimpy McNabb is prolly just as good as Kolb, neither of which will be good enough to win a shootout with Brees... The only thing I can think of is that the game is in Philly, and Philly has a better defense... NO only needs a couple stops to give Brees the advantage, and it shouldnt be too hard against Kolb or 1/2 of a Donovan

Eagles O-Line play was phen. last week. However, do keep it mind that Panthers and Fox were very conservative in their play calling, deciding not to blitz much of the game. That should be the main concern for the Eagles backers, in addition to the starting QB controversy.

On that note, it will be very interesting to see if McNabb plays. I would think, after seeing the injury and what injuries he has played through in the past, that he will be on the field on Sunday. If that is the case, look for this line to go to 2.5 -4.0 with the Eagles being the odds on favorites.

Keep in mind the following trend:

Eagles are 7-1 over last 8 against Saints

great question and definitely a game/line that I think is going to move. Eagles looked amazing last week but brees is no delhomme. Idk what you guys think but the jury is still out on whether those 4 ints were mostly delhommes fault or forced by great d. A few looked like he had no idea what he was doing. I like the eagles but i havent thrown anything down yet because of, and only because of, the fact that I have no idea who the QB will be for the eagles. They are 8-1 against the saints in their past 9 and the game is in PHILLY........

1. The Eagles have a damn good defense.
2. Don't be too quick to forget Week 2 of last season. Saints pounded the solid Tampa defense at home Week 1, then went on the road against the 0-1 Redskins as 3 point favorites. Everyone thought they would win handily. They lost 29-24.
3. Last season the Saints were 2-6 on the road. The two opponents they beat? The Chiefs and the Lions.
4. In 2008 Brees threw 11 tds to 12 ints when on the road. Compared to his 23 tds to 5 ints at home, not so hot.

I'm not saying this to urge people to take the Eagles (Although I'm leaning that way myself right now), just be cautious what you do here. Bear in mind that the two seasons before 2008, Brees played better on the road than at home. However, this Saints defense is still unproven and I need to see something indicating the Saints can compete on the road again before I feel like I can bet them. I likely stay away from the spread on this game, but I think the over looks like a pretty nice play.
