The fact an exhibition game would decide who gets homefield in the world series is absurd, but that being said if it is the rule that just seems crazy to do that.

Wainwright has played in 3 world series too. Maybe he thinks homefield is meaningless...

Has baseball folded yet? I've really come to despise this sport. Woner if being a die hard met fan has anything to do with it? Every time I hear baseball mentioned I cringe. The game is just out dated, behind the times, whatever you might say. And the bigest joke is the all star game, how does a popularity contest decide anything, let alone home field for the world series? And why do they call it world series....? Baseball just annoys me.

How come nobody ever said anything about ws home field literally alternating year to year, but the all star game deciding people care?

i think the all star game deciding it is stupid, but it's not like the team with best record used to get it. They literally alternated year to year.
