lakers will throw the game, it's in their interest to lose this game because the mavs will be an easier 1st round matchup for LA than the Jazz will. If Jazz win they surpass the mavs.

saying this game doesn't matter maybe have some merit, but bottom line is that the Lakers are head and shoulders above the rest of the west so it doesn't matter who they play in the first round, conference semi's or conference finals. They will be in the NBA finals.

i doubt lakers will try and manipulate this series...they can very well beat any of the playoffs teams from 6-8 seeding.

and just cos they loose to utah tongiht doesn't mean that they wont c them in the first round, and letting them win would only give them more confidence if they had to face them in the playoffs..

I think the starters will get less minutes, but it wont b enough to affect the outcome of the game. starting to lean towards the under, and looking for first half bets.
