Maybe we can pay the Mexicans to build a wall on their Southern border
Call it foreign aide
Win win, although libtard nation will suddenly stop supporting "foreign aide", it's tradition
Tell me exactly what an illegal did to you or your family where it's turned your world upside down.
I'm here in SoCal. Lived here for 47 years. Have a pretty big family and a huge network of friends and associates. Not one person I know has had their been mugged, assaulted, murdered, raped or ...look out, had their job taken from them.
Exactly what are you pussy's crying about?
[h=1]Non-Citizens Committed a Disproportionate Share of Federal Crimes, 2011-16[/h][h=2]21% of those convicted of non-immigration crimes were non-citizens — 2.5 times their share of the population[/h]

The strong, very high percentage of federal crimes committed by non-citizens are drug law violations, notably importing illicit drugs across the southern US border and thru the northern, eastern and western borders via sea, air and shipments (FedEx, USPS, UPS etc)
So can you answer as to what BENEFITS there are to NOT having a wall?
Yes. The tax dollars are better spent elsewhere.
And yes, there is an jncredibly long list of other very dubious federal spending items. Which is now and has always been a troubling component of our federal government during my 41 years as a voter.
Adding over $1trillion dollars to national debt in just 12 months will be one of Tiny's legacies. But I remain highly bullish about the future of the United States as he will be replaced by another President and that person will in turn be replaced many times over during my next 40+ years of life.
We are bigger and better than any one "crisis", real or manufactured. Always have been. Always will.
So... you are saying that the $5 billion he is asking for would be better spend elsewhere... and thats the only benefit of not having the wall? Thats it??
Ok, so where would that $5 billion be better spent, then to have a wall to help deter illegals, smugglers, human and drug trafficking?
Like sending $500 million to Jordan so they can build a wall?Yes. The tax dollars are better spent elsewhere.

Excellent points, C. I of course know quite a few people in my home state of Texas and literally zero express support for our federal government spending tens of billions of taxpayer dollars on a giant 2000 mile wall. The multi-million population centers of Houston, San Antonio, Austin and Dallas-FtWorth are thriving at record rates in the year 2019. Thousands of American citizens happily relocate to these four areas every week.
Tiny is pushing this narrative because he has zero political leverage remaining after his shitting the bed in Nov 2018 US House elections and he desperately needs to shift public attention from his family's incredible legal troubles in the months (and years) ahead
Where else are you going to spend 25 billion one time to save 150 billion per YEAR?.....Theres just no justifying anything your trying to argue against the wall...The President said many times Mexico would pay for it through USMCA....Yes. The tax dollars are better spent elsewhere.

Yes, that's what I'm saying
Best use of this mythical (for the moment) $5b would be to not spend it at all. Due to Tiny having added $1trillion to our national debt over these past 12 months any amount of reduced spending gets my support
Meanwhile, if you truly do not grok any of the other cited logical complaints with our federal government building a 2000 mile 40 foot high wall, you are just being lazy. There are an endless number of well-articulated arguments against that idea and they are easy to find. But for me, the financial foolishness tops the list and is sufficient to end the discussion. If you want to extend this argument you'll need to find someone more interested in the topic.
I believe it's all temporary because within the next few months (or even just weeks), trumpco will be so further exposed legally that any and all yakkety-yak about "a 2000 mile border wall" will quickly fade into American oblivion as no future POTUS will ever remotely attempt such silliness
Lanquel probably has a wall around his house and rolls with a 10 person security team like Zuckerberg.
