Campaign Claims Ignorance of 'Crooks for Kerry'

That Boston Herald, ya gotta love it. "Crooks for Kerry: Lefty group hires ex-cons to canvass" was how Sen. John Kerry's hometown newspaper today headlined his latest embarrassment.

Of course it's obvious that the Bush-hating groups campaigning for Kerry and staffed with former Kerry handlers are on the same page as the Democrat presidential candidate, but he's still trying to maintain the illusion that he's as ignorant of them as he is of, say, basic economics.

Story Continues Below

"The Kerry campaign cannot coordinate [with them], it's against the law," the Herald quoted Kerry mouthpiece Michael Meehan as saying. "We don't know anything about it."

And once again the Herald has shamed its pro-Democrat Beantown rival. The Boston Globe today refused to post this news on its Web site but mentioned in a story about a Bush-bashing speech Kerry gave in San Francisco that the story was buried on page 13 of the print edition.

Who's That Knocking at My Door?

Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie had this to say about the Kerry gang's latest antics:

"It is disturbing that the voter mobilization arm of the Democratic Party is proudly hiring felons convicted of sex offenses, assault and burglary to go house to house and handle sensitive personal information.
"Democrat voters should be leery of opening their doors to political operatives until the Democrats can assure them that a convicted felon won't be on the other side."

The really sad part is that let's say, for arguments sake, that Kerry actually interviewed and hired ex-cons personally, he's still a better prospect than dumbya.

Pat,
What's worse -
having cons for Kerry?
or having criminals like Dick, Bush, Asscroft, Dumbfeld, and Wolfoditz in charge?

I'll choose Kerry over the war crimals ANY DAY.

Patriot, I can respect that you've chosen concervativism as your idiology. I don't agree with it, but that's another story. I'm curious to know if you plan on seeing Fahrenheit 911, and if so, what is your defense of George W. Bush? I cannot respect your decision to vote for him, if that is what you intend on doing. Really, there aren't a whole lot of viable arguments to support this scum-bag and his henchman anymore, they are pure evil, and to blather nonsense that Michael Moore is a scum-bag and anti-american is just idiotic. Bush is the worst president in the history of the united states, so who really gives a shit if Kerry has a few flaws? To vote for anyone besides Kerry is like voting YES to fascism.

The Republicans taught me something new today...

Pablum:- a vitamin enriched cereal developed by three doctors at Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children in 1930: Alan Brown, Theodore Drake, Fred Tisdall. It's a mixture of wheatmeal, oatmeal, cornmeal, wheat germ, brewer's yeast, bone meal and alfalfa. From the Latin "pabulum" meaning food.
