i have a bad feeling buehrle gets hit then. I would've liked the sox more if aj's bat was also in there, but toby hall is in. Might have to skip this one and hope that Westbrook gets shelled.
westbrook is the 3rd best pitcher on the staff. and he's actually pitched well coming off the disabled list. in his last start, both he and the kc starter were getting squeezed by the ump and made for some uncharacteristic walks. as far as beuhrle goes, he is throwing exceptionally well but cleveland has always had good success against him. a 4+ era against cleveland for his career.
lee, carmona, byrd are all above him imo. He's just another Scott Elarton relying on his defense to produce outs. He's vocally said that he still isn't comfortable with his windup, and maybe he'll be let off the hook with this chisox offense.

there is a big dropoff from the 1-2 of sabathia and carmona to the rest of the staff. but westbrook is still a solid #3. theres a reason the penny pinching indians threw a lot of money at him and extended his contract. he can be very derek lowe-like when he is healthy and has the sinker working. westbrook is prob the most undervalued pitcher on the staff right now. cliff lee is the most overvalued (and overrated) pitcher on the staff.
