What does some social issue of alleged racism have to do with the Missouri football team boycotting all future games until the President of the school resigns. Why drag college football into politics and the social agendas of the radicals and race-baiters who make a living by stirring the race card pot....What a crock-of-shit. I'll bet if Mizzou had a record of 7-1 or 8 -0 and they were shooting for high stakes (an SEC Championship and a slot in the final four) none of this involving the football team would be happening. The bottom line ($$$$$$) would take hold and the allegations (contrived or otherwise) would be page (10) in the newspapers. With the Mizzou season being in the "shitter" this year the "baiters" saw an opportunity to involve the football team. I wonder who the organizer were ? I'm sure it will all come out in the end. Remember when the University of Missouri received an award for "progressive strokes" when that Gay football player came out of the "closet" and the school embraced him (Kudos for the U of Mizzou)...Two years later.....suddenly, they are a "horse-shit school reeking in racism.

The whole State of Mizzou is phucked up, thank you Ferguson. I watched ESPN's coverage of this today and couldn't believe what I was hearing. That racism has been a pandemic on college campuses for decades. REALLY! This is the honest to God, no shit truth. NOT ONCE, in four years at Vanderbilt, did I ever hear a racial slur, other than some damn Iranian that got up on the Strand daily and ranted about Islam and America was the devil. Yeah, we railroaded his sorry post-hole digging ass off the reservation. But against African Americans, not one damn time. I fielded with a whole lot of guys with a much darker tan, and always considered them brothers. Hell, I spent 6 years in Ghana, to say, which ESPN inferred, that all college campuses are racially biased is total bullshit. Let me ask ya something...... how do they feel in Tuscaloosa about the black football players? Saban has recruited the best of all every year. Look at what Cooper is doing for Oakland for instance. Henry will be the next beast of how many RB's now??? This is bullshit. That state has some problems, but it's not widespread.

No one on the news this morning could figure out what the administration had done or not done that would prompt these kinds of protests, much less justify a resignation.... Day and age we live in, I'm afraid....

Good Lord some of you people at the RX really tip your hands. It's interesting that people who never experience racism and have zero firsthand knowledge of what's going are the ones commenting about it like they know what's up......and blaming Obama....how quaint.

Go read the tweets (and responses!) Le'Veon Bell received after tearing his MCL. Racism and hatred are very much still alive....

perhaps those people on the news should go to UM and find out. That's what news people do......at least I thought. I guess it depends on what news you watch.

oh and it's not just #BlackLivesMatter......and not just students who wanted him out

A coalition of Jewish groups told Mr. Loftin that they were “dismayed” by his lack of action after a swastika was drawn on a dormitory wall. Deans of nine of its schools called for Mr. Loftin’s removal.

The football team was clearly what brought action (sadly it came to that....and action didnt happen sooner)

You should come down to the Poly Forum where we have half a dozen piece of trash race baiting proponents who just all happen to be either Democrat or Communist.

You may need a bath when you leave though, fair warning.
I cant wait to read the phrase "Just cause it didnt happen to you, doesnt mean its not happening" again.

Meanwhile I am all over BYU - 3 1/2. BIG.
The MU team is very very divided, distracted, the game this Saturday is in Kansas City, not on campus in Columbia, MO.
That aside, BYU is a well coached, driven, balanced squad with a solid "D" and MU's offense has struggled mightily. Their back up true freshman QB Lock has been forced to play recently due to starter Malk's suspension and is not ready for prime time. He is an inaccurate passer, throws off back foot when pressured, could lead to some INT's. The MU OL is below average, WR's are below average, RB Hansbrough has been banged up but might be healthy now TBD. MU "D" has strong DL but BYU will negate to some extent with screens and draw plays.
MU, last 4 games, scored: 13 vs Miss St, 3 at VD, 6 at Georgia, 3 vs Florida.
BYU - 3 1/2, BIG.
