can anyone offer an opinion on whether the offshore industry is overly concerned about recieving future post-ups via Western Union? As a sender of post-up money, I have thought that the using of individuals name and not an entity would always allow players to send money to offshore books using Western Union. The recent issue with the WU agt running off with a hugh amount emarked for OS has me concerned for the OS and my ability to use WU in the future. Please advise if this post should be directed to someone specific or to another area and thanks for any and all feedback.

Good question. I would think most are a little worried right now. In the near future, I beleive WU will stop doing transfers for offshore gaming, but I do not know how they will tell who is who.

Money processors have gone bad in the past and there will be ones that go bad in the future. That is as sure as the sun rising in the morning. That's just part of the business. The good books will continue to service their customers without a hickup.

In my opinion WU will always be an option. I don't think the US will goto the extent of banning a whole country. Even if they do, the books will just process them through another country. How many countries would the US be willing to ban? It's just not viable.

Moving money creates a ton of cash in fees. I think WU makes more money than the books. That IS taxable by Uncle Sam.

Someone, somewhere will always be ready to step in and fill the need. You can bet on that.

That was a great response by Gringo and refreshing that at least some people realize there is a big difference between what is legal and what is going to happen. Just like speed limits, drinking ages, and local sports betting...this is going to continue. If some business feels their other "legal" operations are worth more to them now or in their future they very well might drop doing this line of business, but when they do someone else will surely fill that void. Look how much money you can make doing it, someone will find that market too lucrative to pass it up.

This is what I think I have wagered for the past 8 years and I know there is ALWAYS a way to send money so let's not worry at this moment when it comes the time they will find a way!!!
