What a great movie could be made with him. You know, he's alone playing in the gym. He's a high school freshman and the coach spots him, has doubts about his height but is willing to give him a tryout because the friendly old priest asks him as a favor. (He owes the cleric because he once bailed the coach out of jail). But the boy's parents want him to work after school, because the father is out of a job, etc., etc.
You can add all kinds of plot twists, like Hale Berry taking a liking to him, etc. etc. and finally he gets to play. He runs up and down the court like an insane Doberman and wins the championship for his school: "The Little Sisters of the Poor High School" amid the screaming and cheering. He has a last second buzzer-beater that makes the gym erupt into chaos.
Fadeout with him sitting in Hale Berry's lap. Both grinning merrily.
It would have legs.
