This is why I get annoyed when people scream fix everday

1. They dont know how to lose without whining.

2. They constantly change it up. Perfect example was game 4. They said the Howard no call on the final play proved that the nba is fixed and that the cavs would win. Overtime occurs, and Magic win, the conspircary theorists nowhere to be found. They save there behinds when they then post, well yea the nba tried to fix it, but orlando won regardless, so they cover there bases.

They always plan ahead. Just wait until game 6. They will say its rigged if Cleveland wins. The critical flaw in that argument is that Cleveland is capable of beating Orlando in Orlando. They do not need a fix to beat Orlando.

Too many people do dumb storylines with it to like a soap opera. I know there very few people who do this, I'm just not sure they know how dumb they look pushing there storylines that they end up believing in.

trust me, its dead. look at what the nhl has done on versus. compare that to the nba where every game is breaking a viewing record. abc just had the highest rated nba game ever on there network, and nuggets/lakers had a 7.1 rating the other day on espn, most watched sporting game in the history of cable.

you compare that to the .8 on versus and tell me the nhl is alive and thriving. please.

anybody that thinks sports isnt fixed, should seek mental help and this has nothing to do with losing bets. Sports is about billions of dollars at stake and if you think the league doesnt do what it can to make those billions, well then your living in a fairyland. I suppose the stock market is played on a level field also.
It always amazes why some people can believe so much that sports is on the up and up. In a perfect honest world i would believe it to, but the said truth is when you have humans, money and greed involved, your always going to have corruption. Its been like this since man has been on the planet.
Do all fixes win? Of course not and thats because there is only so much the refs can do to help a team. The team still has to make baskets.
The other night the refs with their timely foul calling screwed the nuggets and that all it takes is a couple extra fouls at the right time to help a team out. The nba is no differnt then the wwf. Stern is just trying to sell the fans a product they want. The fans want a kobe - lebron matchup and stern will do what he can to make that happen, which still might not be enough. But the fact is, its happening right beofre your blind eyes.

And that's the exact problem right there, it's on freaking Versus. My dad is a huge hockey fan but doesn't get it on his Dish Network package. Look at the ratings on the ABC NHL games.

You know, i could live with it too if they just stuck with it. but they say a game is fixed, goes the opposite way and they run away. then they come back to cover there base on the next game, lose again and on and on.

like i said, they create grand and stupid storylines that dont even happen and they end up believing it and going by it verbatim.

NHL ratings in Canada are very high as always...NBA ratings in Canada pretty much suck since nobody cares about basketball

The NHL isn't dead just because it's not a big hit on NBC in the states lol This is like saying the NBA is dead because the NBA ratings blow in Canada

And TV ratings only tell half the story...You look at Boston, Carolina, Chicago, Washington, Pittsburgh etc and the arenas are packed and the fans are insane...much louder than NBA fans

The NHL isn't dead.....They NHL just needs to get rid of the teams in the south like Florida, Atlanta, Nashville etc..people don't support anything from these places unless its nascar or bass fishing lol
