I saw an error with one of my books. I called them , the customer service girl was never non-challante and said she'd contact the line manager.
That was 30 minutes ago, and it still isn't fixed.
There is no reson for me to bet it, becuase I know they would pay a -190 as -109 as listed on the site. But why not fix it WHEN SOMEONE TELLS YOU OF THE ERROR.

Amazing

I always tell the books if I see an obviously bad line.

I could care less about a comp - all I expect is a simple "thank you", but some books (<5%) have extremely rude CS personal & therefore I simply won't bother telling them (I don't play it, but surely somebody will).

Most books realize that a smile goes along way ... but there always a few that don't care - and they're only hurting themselves.

Just a sincere thank you. Note it in my account and if I've pointed out a few, then maybe a comp would be appreciated. Or if they see $x money has been bet into the bad line and they can cancel it 9 hours before the game, and saved themselves $x and significant bad press, then maybe a comp. This gives them a chance to be "stand-up" guys and handle things the right way.

It's still not fixed. Iwas tempted to bet $100, but the book has been very good to me. May cheeck it again before I leave work, and email my CS rep if its still not fixed.

Amazing.

Wagerstreet was the worst. When I played actively with them, I would call every other day with line errors, and and the clerks always acted like I was bothering them.

Wagerstreet must have the sloppiest clerks/linesmen in the Biz...

They have several 'errors' per day.

assassin- Use the 10 minute rule. If you inform them of the bad line and it's still there 10 minutes later, POP IT.

I've called many times telling books about bad lines. Its its not uncommon to have a cker tell you a line of -120 with a comeback of +130 and not realize that there is a problem. I don't need a $25 comp. But it would be nice if they would make a note in my account. SO that in the future shoudl a dispute arise, they could see that I'm an honest player whose helped in the past. But most of the tiome I get the sense that the line managers don't even bother asking or caring about who it was that called.

Well going up the food chain helped quite a bit.

I just received the following response:

Thanks for your help on this matter. We are of course providing your acct
with a $25 bonus for your efforts.

Thanks again

xxxx

See, being honest sometimes pays. Good to know. Plus, doing the right thing is always its own reward.
