I know their offense is atrocious, i know that they're not a top 25 team and i also know this is not the same LSU team that we're accustomed to but time and time again, when a team got a new coach, new system in place, new motivation. I always believe that it lights a fire under their belly. This is also a night game at LSU. Am i the only one who sees this? Any LSU alum or homer here that can chime in. Im hoping the line goes down to -10 or even -9.5 by game time and I'll pound.
Thanks peepee for your comment but it will be a different offense now, it might not be drastically different but i think that they will open the playbook more. Sometimes a game is not about x's and o's, more times than others its about motivation, about getting up vs an opponent. An old gambler once told me that u can only get up in a game 2-3x a year and i looked at LSU schedule and i feel like this is the first game that they'll get up and rally around their new coach. Another game is the bama game and maybe the tex am game. This is under the radar game and nobody's really talking about it coz of the clemson-ville matchup. And yeah Mizzou just came off a win 79-0. Call me crazy but i see a lot of mizzou turnovers and an LSU blowout.
Agree w you both. I'm a little bit of a homer being that I live 10 miles from BR but I actually hardly bet on LSU and prolly more times against. I'm thinking special teams and D big plays assisted by a more wide open play calling. Fournette is nicked up but Guice at rb will be just fine. I'll prolly hit it!
I'm a Mizzou homer and don't be fooled by the 79-0 win. It was against a high school team. We have a new OC, but I'm far from sold on our offense. We have a couple highly skilled position players (Black-transfer from Bama and Ross-transfer from Oklahoma), but they've yet to make a difference. We will be solid on defense. I just don't know where the points are going to come from. I hate to say it, but I like LSU laying the points. However I won't bet against my Tigers. I do however like the under. I think that 54.5 is inflated from our last win and the assumption that LSU is going to open the playbook today. Just my two cents. Take it for what it's worth. Bol with whatever you choose.
