This is really a pitiful display by South Carolina

I really like the old ball coach. But he is having a complete brain fart today rotating QB's on every play and trying backward laterals on their own 5 yard line on kickoffs..I can already chalk this one up as a loss. A complete meltdown by SC. :ohno:

How hard is it to not give away 3 TDs when you have a very strong defense. Let them keep you in the game.

You can do that crap vs Arkansas. Down in Gainesville, no chance. Too bad because he has had a lot of success with SC vs Florida.

You can't rotate QB's on every play against a good defense. Florida is proving it fast. What puzzles me is there really isn't any big difference in style of the two QB's. Why not just stick with one QB so he can get the true feel of the game?

What advantage does he see in switching qb's every play. It's not like one is a runner or anything.

Even at Florida he won with the best talent in the country and system QB's that threw to a spot. His receivers were always good enough to get separation.

I guess I'm one of the few that has never been that impressed with his coaching.

The difference between a Leak/Teabow rotation and a Smelly/Garcia rotation is you had a difference in styles with Leak/Teabow. They also didn't rotate on virtually every play. But the biggest thing in this case is you have a considerable difference in talent. Two untalented QB's rotating mean twice the problems.

No offense but to say they are untalented is a ridiculous statement. Garcia is still young & learning the position. I do agree with you that he should not be rotating QB's every play. However I strongly disagree with the untalented statement as it is not true.

So far he's not showing me any special talent, despite having a talented group of receivers to throw it to.. And he sure doeesn't have the experience...For my pocketbook's sake, I hope he proves me wrong.

And no offense, but you're wrong. Garcia may have the physical tools to be a good QB, but he isn't talented. The former is measurable, the latter is what you seen in action/on the field.

Give him the excuse of just being young and inexperienced, but he doesn't have a good head on his shoulders.

Can't believe Spurrier didn't come out and just try to pound the ball on the ground this game. Huge coaching mistake on his part.

I wouldn't go out there & say they have a ton of talent at the WR position. Clearly their best options are McKinely & Cook.

As far as him not being talented, you can't measure complete talent on an incomplete body of work. Come back & judge him in a season or so, not now.

So I will disagree with you on me being wrong.

McKinnley and Cook are NFL-caliber players. Davis at RB is a solid player nd a good outlet. I agree, SC does not have amazing offensive talent, but there's certainly *enough* there to be more efficient than they've been.

Spurrier doesn't care about this team. Any interview he gives claiming otherwise is a bold-faced lie. He took the job because they guaranteed him a membership at Augusta National. Spurrier cares far more about his golf game than his W-L record. Still thought he had way too good of a defense to be getting 22 points though.

Guy should retire. Best defense in the SEC and your giving Florida the game.

Not to be rude, but the best defense in the SEC is wearing Blue.

Vandy, UK, and now USCe all had stats against teams with shitty O. Even with the short field UF has had today, they racked up 220 yds of O in the half. Cocks?? 80.

If South Carolina didn't turnover the ball Florida wouldn't have more than 14 points.
