Good luck...but playing in a new stadium has no effect on the outcome of a game.

Yup, but consider who the owner is for cowboy, who is also there GM, I think he wants to leave a good impression with his new 1.2 billions toy. It is time for Romo to prove something too........there is no more excuse now!!!

Interesting... so what does have an "affect" on the outcome of a game, stats alone? You don't believe in including motivational edges, such as team morale, playing location, playing environment, weather and other non-statistical variables have an affect on performance/outcome?

They have no business in handicapping? I can assure you, they do as I have successfully employed edges often overlooked for years with great success.

Am I offering an opinion on the play of Dal ML? Not at all, I am simply saying that motivation, environment, crowd and the other variables I listed above do affect a teams performance. To what extent you need to factor them in to your handicapping is trial and error. But you should, in select instances (heavily) and in more frequent instances (slightly) encorporate them. Just my opinion based on my successful experience.

5 years from now nobody will have any clue who won the first ever cowboys preseason game in this stadium. hell, 3 weeks from now nobody will remember it. all jones cares about is to get the seats as packed as possible. he could care less, rightly so, on how dallas does in their 2nd preseason game

Heard on Fox Sports that this is the last significant preseason actions for Dallas starters and they are treating it like regular season. Should be a good bet.

it's pre season. They're not going to care if they win or lose in a new stadium.

No...I'm a big believer in motivation, and I try to quantify it and use it.

But opening a new stadium during a pre-season...or regular season game for that matter isn't a very big motivator for a player...in my opinion.

The perception is that it would be...I would be more comfortable fading it.

Just my opinion as well.

it is moments that makes Hero. This is the prefect timing for Romo to redeem myself...........also, I never think Titan have good team chemistry..........last year it was official that Collins will be the starting QB after Vince did what he did, but this year, nothing is official yet, I dont think all players are on the same page for Titans...

Actually the Yankees won their 1st game in their new stadium. They played an exhibition game against the Cubs and pounded them. If this exhibition game counts so does that one for being 1st home game.
