First of all. Duke is very good and could very well win tonight. But that is not how I see it tonight and here is why.

As usual Duke has had a easy road to the final 4. Every year they never leave the Carolinas until deep into the tourney and that is usually fairly close to home. Their only challenge was Gonzaga (not UTAH,San Diego St.). Michigan St. could not buy a hoop, plain and simple. Dukes D was impressive and they shot 50% from the field. But Mich.States missed open shots was what stood out for me.

Now lets look at Wisconsin. Even though they got a #1 seed they got the shaft by having to travel to California to get to the final 4. Talk about murder's row--Oregon,UNC, Arizona and then Kentucky. They have a lot of seniors who have a ton of experience and that have been battle tested to the MAX. I see Wisconsin seizing the moment all the way.

This a much better Duke team than the one that beat Wisky in Madison by 10 points, particularly on the D side. And Trevor Jackson had a big night in that game, he was a non-factor imo last Saturday and doubt things change with him tonight. Then there's the potential letdown factor from beating Kentucky. BOL with that "Big" play, I think you're gonna need it.

Both teams are a lot better than they were in that game. I don't think that game will have much to do with this one. Wisconsin is a much different team with Decker now and how they are playing. I think it is a toss up game (as the line indicates). Should be a great game to just sit back and enjoy.

The let down is very possible. The students were celebrating on campus like they won the championship. As far as that loss in Madison by 10. I' ll put in the revenge factor for Wisky. If it is a pressure cooker in the last seconds--advantage Wisconsin.

As a disclaimer, I am not betting Wisconsin tonight, I simply disagree with much of the reasoning for taking Duke in the above post.

Most importantly both teams are much better today than they were in early December. As far as Traevon Jackson goes, I would argue that Wisconsin is a better team with Bronson Koenig as the starting PG. At this point, getting Traevon Jackson back is simply a bonus that helps boost a shallow bench. Dekker was playing on a bad ankle in December and was largely a non-factor. I would guess you see a different Dekker tonight. Duke has also since dismissed Rasheed Sulaimon who had 14 in the December 3 game.

The only piece of that game I could see as valuable would be how Wisconsin struggled to stop Duke. You aren't going to win many games allowing teams to shoot 65% from the floor and 58% from three.

It will be interesting to see what Coach K does on defense. If they play man to man, and switch everything as they normally do, Wisconsin is great at finding the mismatch (as we saw against Kentucky). I would guess he will play quite a bit of zone, which keeps Okafor inside rather than force him to cover Kaminsky or Hayes on the perimeter. If he does play zone, I think you might see Wisconsin struggle a bit more offensively. Should be a great matchup.

Duke has been fine w/o Sulaiman, in fact better. I'd bet Winslow will be on Dekker and that will be a problem for Wisky. Kaminski is not gonna have his way with Okafor like he did Towns, no way, no how. Duke has the I believe the 6th best defensive showing in the history of the tourney so far, which is evidence of the improvement in D the young kids have made the last three months. My only mention of Jackson was that while he was in, he wasn't worth squat, I strongly agree that Koenig is the better player right now. The only way Duke plays zone is if Okafor gets in foul trouble. Personally, I'm probably just gonna sit back and watch a good game.

I think the games a toss-up & either team could win, but I totally disagree with the letdown theory. No such thing when you're playing for a National Championship. Those kids realize beating Kentucky means nothing if they don't finish it off. Whether they can or not remains to be seen.

I guess you never played college sports. I did and I've seen letdowns at every level, so really, you're comment is a little off-base.

Would love to know the what, where and when you played 'college' sports ... of course you will supply your real name for verification. Do you have to have played a college sport to know something about 'letdowns' ... sorta like having to be a chef to know if food tastes good or not.

Sure, you played at Vandy ... just like those six figure royalty checks and your bromance with T. Boone.

You played at Vandy, which has been terrible for the last 100 years off college football. There was never a game that you personally experienced a let down.

Balls with another ID, that's classic. Pothead, I've admitted numerous times in the college football forum how it sucked that after I graduated in '82, they went to a bowl game the following year. That being said, I've played/followed sports all my life, and I know a potential letdown game as well as anyone. You and r.a. should get together for drinks, neither of you knows jack about gambling.

Who is the one on drugs ... you don't even know who you are replying to. What does all of us calling you out on your total b.s. life have to do about what we know or don't know about gambling. We aren't dropping names in every other posting, talking about our fake royalty checks or pretending to want to bang our p.t. You're the class act who was posting here while your mother was supposedly in a serious accident ... a son a mom can be proud to call her own.

You may very well be correct but this is also a much better Wisc team at this point, keep in mind Duke shot 65% in 1st meeting that won't happen tonight
