As a baseball fan I would really like to be pulling for the no-hitter today, but as a sportsbetter on the other team I cant do that. I really wish I could just sit back right now and cheer on those last 3 outs but I cant do that right now.

Thats what really sucks.

March Maddness is the worst. You have a bracket all filled out and your doing well. All of a sudden there is a cinderella 14 seed beating a 3 seed, and I have to pull for the 3 seed because I have that team going to the elite 8.


I wish I could go back to the days of how sports were when I was a little kid. Innocent with no agendas.

I'm with you Choptalk - I've felt that way too many times. Good thing I don't bet large amounts, on a few occasions I didn't mind losing bet (this past ncaa's) and root for a team. The NFL is where I get real scrambled. May not bet NFL this year just as experiment.

Sorry Chop, but i disagree. If i wasnt betting on sports, i wouldnt give 2 shits about watching or hearing about sports. Iam not part of these players lifes, so i dont care if they win or lose. I never got into that whole favorite die sports fan crap. These players make way to much money for me to bother rooting for them to win or lose.

Have to agree 100%, but I do like it when I know a team laying a large spread in College is not going to cover so I can start rooting for the otherside, assuming I have the big favorite.

I have not bet on the NBA and have watched all of 5 playoff minutes. If I don't bet on a pro game I don't watch it.

I sometimes feel like that in football. I love the sport but only care about working and doing what is necessary to get an edge. I rarely watch my home town Pats or enjoy anygame like a fan. Just looking and grinding.

You got to see the great Johnny Rodgers in his vintage form. That is priceless. That punt return was one of the great ones.

Tom Brady, my tickets were on the 35yd line and he(Rodgers) fielded the punt around the 30(right in front of me) and took it to the house. Nebraska scored the winning touchdown (Jeff Kinney) with about a minute left. Oklahoma took the kickoff and actually(Jack Mildren) missed a wide open receiver accross the middle who might have scored. Good Luck

That game was a classic. I am glad ESPN has shown the replay a few times.

Stoopes is a great coach. Not perfect but still a great coach. Callahan is an idiot. You got the edge now. Swizer/Osborne was a great series and you guys had the best of it for a while. We finally came on at the end of Osborne's career. I am disappointed right now. Callahan is not up to par. Take care of Texas. You need to get it back this year.

BTW great game last year weshould have won. PAINFUL LOSS AT NU.
