The NFL schedule has not been released yet, but we know the opponents of every team in the league. So with that information, CBS was able to compile stats on the hardest and most difficult schedules using opponents’ winning percentage in 2014.
With that being said, the NFC West, collectively, has the hardest schedules in 2015. Every team in the West is in the top 6 as far as hardest schedules are concerned. The NFC South, collectively, has the easiest schedules in 2015. That’s probably due to the division being terrible and a joke.
The team with the most difficult schedule is the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh has to play all of the AFC North teams, AFC and NFC West teams and for fun: the Patriots and Colts. Their total opponents winning percentage is a ridiculous .579.
The team with the easiest schedule is the Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta gets the luxury of playing the crummy NFC South, AFC South and the NFC East.
