Everything I've seen makes me believe it's a nasty strain of the ASIAN flu. SARS could have been prevented from spreading to the West, but the communist Chinese waited until what I believe over a 1000 have died in China.
If the political correctness doesn't stop many will die from SARS. Stop all flights from China into the US. Since the US still has a decent medical system the Americans will be OK.
Other countries with socialized medicine will be in bad shape, only the rich that can pay for treatment will survive a serious case of SARS. If your not rich in Canada don't get it or you'll probably drop dead waiting for treatment.
