I logged on to post my week #15 pick on Jacksonville with a write up, but I saw that it would be locked out of the most recent posts due to 16 posts by the general, which judging from the low response rate few people give a rat's ass about. This forum seems to have gotten really weak, and I suspect that one individual spamming the forum and locking out others is the reason why.

I know what you guys are saying....It used to be a good place for info but now all it is is Game of the year , Lock of the Decade posts!!!! It's nice to have the games on top so we can talk about each game more efficiently. Iit's better than having to sift through a bunch aof BS from guys who have no clue!

If you guys don't think all the info Dawgman posts....Selections from good cappers like MyFootballGame & others.......Triple plays from Action that rarely miss....and plenty of other info people post, then I'm not sure what you mean by this place doesn't have much info anymore and nobody here has a clue.....Plenty of people here that know their stuff, whether it be through gambling experience throughout the years, or just plain know a specific sport inside out......

i think what he means is, and i agree, is that the general spams the forums with one line posts (32000 posts) with "good luck." there is no need for that because it pushes many threads to the second and third pages.

general - have you ever thought about limiting your posting just a tad? unless of course you are offering information, which you rarely do. take care.

I dunnooooo Identity, General is just being polite, I don't think he has any reason to "pad" his number of posts. He just likes to wish everyone a good day. Now, I do have to admit that for some reason I just don't care for the locked threads at the top. I understand it is supposed to be helpful, but in this instance, I think it's more of a nuisance......

hache - i guess what i meant came out the wrong way. i think the general means very well. he is a GREAT guy, however, this is not a forum for making new friends. if it was, it would be called "friendster" or something like that. this is a sports forum, and regardless of how nice everyone is, first and foremost we are interested in picks and info.

I don't care for negative talk, in this post or anywhere else. I appreciate the General's politeness in wishing us good luck, which I feel is sincere. I DO NOT like the locked posts on the top. I thought we agreed quite a while back that most people did not care for them. It changes the personality of the forum, and allows less room for posters. I agree with Hache Man that the info from him and DAWGMAN is invaluable. There are also many fine cappers who post here. All in all this is a fine site. There is no reason for us to run it down with negative talk. We are all here to support each other. The more we stick to that, the better off we'll all be.

Hache man - You misunderstood me. Their is no doubt some people on here that really know their game. However for every Dawgman and myfootballgame out there, there are 20 others who just posts plays as lock of the year's with now info to support their play. It gets old sifting through all of those posts.

How is having the games locked at the top hurting guys that have valuable info??? Wouldn't it be best for everyone to put their info and plays in the same post???

Kman, I agree there are some that come here and post their "locks" and "guarantees" that we aren't familiar with, but that goes for any site. The key, of course, is to familiarize yourself with posters in time, which, of course I realize you already know that. I was one of the few, if not the only one, who noticed early on that Anthony Rickas seemed to be hitting hit picks quite frequently, but nobody else did, or believed me, all they were concentrating on was criticizing him for saying they were "locks". Finally, he was given an ultimatum, and stopped posting his "guarantees", and now more have realized he is pretty good and show him more respect......

Hache Man - Personally, I think A. Richass sucks but I quit looking at his posts about a month or so ago.

I still like having the games locked at the top. It's easier for me to get info on the games I am interested in.

If one person wants to actually make over 10,000 posts that's okay with me, but there is really no reason their posts should be put above everyone elses.

In respect to General I think providing a thread all can discuss each particular game seperately is a good idea. That way everyone gets others views, opinions and somes bull shit all on that particular game...Otherwise views on particular games can get quite scattered. I like that format. And it sure helped everyone last week as we came up with BIG WINNERS on Indy, KC, TB just to name a few. I like that format...

As far as StJoe, damn I missed you. I wondered what had happened to you...We didn't always agree but I respected your opinion and we made some BIG BILL$$$$ bantering over games...Good Luck on wherever u end up...

Regards
Bernie
