No possible solution can come from it.
US forces are alienating themselves bigtime.

</TD></TR><TR><TD vAlign=top width=416><!-- S BO -->US and Iraqi forces are locked in desperate street battles against insurgents in the Iraqi city of Falluja. The BBC News website spoke by phone to Fadhil Badrani, a journalist in Falluja who reports for the BBC World Service in Arabic.

Iraqi man buries his brother in Falluja

</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><!-- E IIMA -->I am surrounded by thick black smoke and the smell of burning oil.

There was a big explosion a few minutes ago and now I can hear gunfire.

A US armoured vehicle has been parked on the street outside my house in the centre of the city.

From my window, I can see US soldiers moving around on foot near it.

They tried to go from house to house but they kept coming under fire.

Now they are firing back at the houses, at anything that moves. It is war on the streets.

The American troops look like they have given up trying to go into buildings for now and are just trying to control the main roads.

I am sitting here on my own, watching tragedy engulf my city.

Looks like Kabul

I was with some of the Falluja fighters earlier. They looked tired - but their spirits were high and they were singing.

Local fighters have reportedly been joined by Iraqis from other cities

</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><!-- E IIMA -->Recently, many Iraqis from other parts of the country have been joining the local men against the Americans.

No one has had much sleep in the past two days of heavy fighting and of course, it is still Ramadan, so no one eats during the day.

I cannot say how many people have been killed but after two days of bombing, this city looks like Kabul.

Large portions of it have been destroyed but it is so dangerous to leave the house that I have not been able to find out more about casualties.

Mosques silent

A medical dispensary in the city centre was bombed earlier.

I don't know what has happened to the doctors and patients who were there.

It was last place you could get medical attention because the big hospital on the outskirts of Falluja was captured by the Americans on Monday.

</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><!-- E IINC -->A lot of the mosques have also been bombed.

For the first time in Falluja, a city of 150 mosques, I did not hear a single call to prayer this morning.

I broke my Ramadan fast yesterday with the last of our food - two potatoes and two tomatoes.

The tomatoes were rotten because we have no electricity to run the fridge. My neighbours - a woman and her children - came to see me yesterday. They asked me to tell the world what is happening here. I look at the devastation around me and ask - why?

10,000 enemy killed would be good, no great.

Ummm ... there's only an estimated 3,000 insurgents in Fallujah.

Other than that, keep pouring on the charm, Game. Your christian god is smiling brightly down upon you, I'm sure. Blessed are the meek and all that.

Yeah, 3000 insurgents, and 10,000 killed.....

If we killed all the insurgents that would leave around 7,000 civilians killed.

I guess that's just all in a day's work for Dubya.

There's alot of foreign fighters in Fallujah, Saudis, Syrians and Iranians. Wouldn't be surprised if it's 10,000.

How did all those foreign fighters get in there gamey. We've had Fallujah surrounded pretty much from the start of Mission Iraqi Freedump. 7000 men moving IN to a city that everyone is fleeing wouldn't go unnoticed.
But then again we don't have enough forces to guard munitions stockpiles how could we possibly lock down a city with so few troops. I also get the feeling our troops are finding out were all those explosives missing from Al Qua Qua went.

Jinnefer,

The Iraiqi borders are vast and open. I'd imagine the same way millions get in via Americas southern border. Liberals are funny they somehow believe this war is like a video game or a John Wayne movie. It really doesn't happen that way. The Saudis, Syrians and Iranians are flowing in for the Jihad. It's really not a bad idea to allow all of them in and kill them.

Where did I say this war was like a video game you twit. If anyone is reducing this war to a video game it's idiots like you who sit safely behind your keyboard waving your little pom poms. While I and others have questioned the need for this war from the begining. None of us who question it are under any illusions that it is a video game you insufferable little pimple on GWs ass.

The United States, not being embroiled by war, would of course have reasonably open borders. But when a country is under occupation, and its neighbours are decidedly unfriendly, do you think it makes militaristic sense to engage in such a collassal failure of border security? Shisenki (sp?) estimated you needed 300,000 troops. Your neocons thought they could do this with 70,000. And now look where you're at. Foreign fighters, terrorists, etc. running amok in this country causing a battle such as this.

Liberals are funny they somehow believe this war is like a video game or a John Wayne movie.

Is it actually possible that you get more retarded as the days go on? Post after post of yours gives one the impression you believe war to be much like a round of Grand Theft Auto. NOTHING that I read from anti-war liberals gives me the impression that we liken war to an hour of entertainment. So fück you for even suggesting it.

It really doesn't happen that way. The Saudis, Syrians and Iranians are flowing in for the Jihad. It's really not a bad idea to allow all of them in and kill them.

You're a morally bankrupt prick. Too bad your backyard wasn't being used as a recruitment ground for American serial killers.

I actually agree with you. But be prepared that this is playing right into AQ's hands. They want nothing more than to increase their propaganda campaign that Christians are attacking Muslims on Muslim soil. This attack will only add to that perception. Plus, the point still remains that none of this should be happening in the first place.

Jackal azz you are the one posing stupid questions. No war is going to go perfect, the city cannot be sealed completely. Bonehead the Israelis cannot completely seal there little area. Is anyone home upstairs? Carry on.

X,

If we make them any madder at us they may blow a building up or something. I've had it with the liberal hand wringing at every turn. For once give war a chance without the political correct whining. Just once... How about start a thread or two or a peace march against the French?

Well schit for brains, had we continued the siege in April there would likely be less to fight than there are now. But georgie was more worried about his reselection, yes that's right reselection. Only this time Diebold selected his sorry ass. How do you defecate with your head so firmly planted in your anus?

Sure you idiot Diebold gave Bush the edge of 4 million votes, 31 states and 3500 to 500 counties. The Senate +4 and the House +6. You're a complete whack job.
