This defensive holding is going to change the way the game is played

The punishment is way too harsh.
If they are going to call this 10 times a game they need to reduce the punishment.

When it's 3rd and 20 they should not give the offense an automatic 1st down.

If you are going to call this flag 20 times a game at least take away the automatic 1st.

Make it 5 yards and repeat the down like they do for offsides.


There are going to be many bad beats this season in the nfl.

It's Peyton and Damn Fantasy Football. Damn them, damn them all to hell.
They CANNOT call the game this way during the season. Games going 3 1/2 hours or more in regulation won't fly with the networks.

It must suck playing defense these days. Can't hit people hard, can't touch them, can't look at them... basically they should tie their hands behind their backs. It's getting ridiculous. Why mess with the league so much. Although I do like the longer extra points.
