fuckin stupid, everyone blames everything on hip hop. Hip Hop has nothing to do with this, how come media never points out to the good things hip hop artists have done?

I'm as a big a hip hop fan that you will find, but hip hop HAS ruined a lot of things and is more or less responsible for a ton of things in today society.

black youth has been completely corrupted by mainstream rap artists.

the good hip hop=not mainstream and not popular with black youth

its cool to be a fuck up these days.

such as????

Im a huge hip hop listener... I listened to the likes of Ludacris, NAS, Biggy, 2PAC, Trick Daddy.. etc...

Hip Hop is bad for society... too many kids, ESPECIALLY white are acting like complete idiots and disregard common manners. I always say its the parents fault, but the parent can only do so much when your kid is blaring abotu some song rappin about fucking 10 bitches

fact of the matter is, hip hop has done very very very little to help society. they are simply put... a bad influence

You cant just blame music though, there are way more people like me and you who listen to rap and still act like a normal human in society. Tons of rap fans still act normal. And there are many examples of hip hop artists doing good things for the world. I put in the jay z video in this thread... there are many other examples

i understand the Jay Z video and its nice that he's doing something useful... but that doesnt cover up what he does.

what you do and what you preach are 2 different things. Jay Z is prolly one of the more "classy" artists out there, but lets face it... he's not exactly a great citizen.

the majority of his music is wrapped around the notion of "pimpin"... I dont have kids, but if and when I have a daughter, I dont want some punk ass kid thinking he can "pimp" my little girl because Jay Z thinks its cool.

Im not blaming music 100%... but come on man, its not helping society... it does far more damage then good.

jay z is a good citizen now....

but kids dont want to be like him now, they want to be like 50 and camron and lil wayne and TI...who just went to jail for trying to buy automatic guns and silencers

rappers made guns and killing people mainstream, cool things to do

theres no way around it

Good enough for me, get Joe C*ntrarian to put it in Dubya's ear that hip-hop should be banned in this country.

OK, if you guys want to play this game then what is the difference between rap and for example...

Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl" a song that is about his love for heroin. So its ok to sing about how much fun heroin is?

5 star... rappers are farrrr more explicit then any Van Morrison song.

Its easy to know what rappers are talking about because they are rather blunt.

I bet if you asked 100 high school kids what Brown Eyed Girl was about, they wouldn't have a clue.

Now I don't wanna hit no women when this chick's got it coming
Someone better get this bitch before she gets kicked in the stomach
And she's pregnant, but she's egging me on, begging me to throw her
Off the steps on this porch, my only weapon is force

-- Eminem

If you'd lie for me, like you lovin me
Baby say yeah
If you'd die for me, like you cry for me,
Baby say yeah
If you'd kill for me, like you comfort me,
Baby say yeah,
Girl I'm convinced, you're my down ass bitch

-- Ja Rule

I need me a chick, who ain't scared to flirt
I need me a chick in the middle of the grocery store she'll lift up her skirt
I need me a chick, like I need my crew
I need me a chick to pass on to my boys soon as I get through

-- Nate Dogg

I mean come on! Are they serious with these lyrics? Sorry man, but this is not the social norm... this is border line taboo. Im only saying this because I grew up when hip hop was growing at a super fast rate, and all the kids (I went to a white school) mostly acted like they were black and could get away with doing half the shit they do.

The fact that these rappers get looked upon god-like celebrities is beyond me. And to top it off, they win awards.

I remember when Back That Ass Up came out. That basically was the beginning of girls wearing their thongs outside of their jeans in school.

Like I said, Im talking in the perspective of me having a daughter living in a hip hop society... I dont have a daughter, but if I did............

Yea Eminem's songs are fuckin crazy and I love them. Eminem is the fucking man and he doesnt give a fuck what anyone says or thinks about him. But just bc his lyrics are crazy doesnt mean im going to go and do the shit hes rapping about. Its like video games, do you think games like Grand Theft Auto are going to make kids into serial killers because of the video game? I mean you cant blame outside sources for the way kids are brought up. I guess I will just never understand this.

Hes a vegetable...and his entire career was planned long before anybody knew who he was...They needed a White authority figure to brainwash the young impressionable white kids left out in the cold when Pop Culture went "Black"....I give him credit though....he broke free of his programming (MPD-Multiple Personality Disorder) to a certain extent and is trying to raise his daughter....I hope Britney can do the same...

And to those of you wondering "WTF" I am talking about....hit me up at...
