I'm through and through a Caps fan but I think +140 for the Pens is great value imo...Pens made easy work of a very good Carolina team, and the only reason they didn't spank a very good Caps team was Ovie and Varlamov...

Crosby is on fire, and Malkin (who was dead by this time last year) is the best player in the playoffs. Add Staal to the mix and the Pens have three all-star centers, and three top lines.

Bill Guerin's addition is what their room needed and their defense is nothing less than solid.

Alot of what you say may in fact be true.

But these arn't last years Wings either.

Their not only better, but there deeper as well.

Fluery kept last years series from being a blow out.

if he doesn't do it again it will be over early.

Aside from injuries, this team has only minor flaws at best.

Let's hope the refs let the players decide who wins this one.

Do you REALLY think this rookie coach of the Pens knows how to adjusts like Hitchcock,Carlyle and Quinnville couldn't do?

Babcock will out coach Bylsma to a win or 2 alone.

Think about it. A rookie coach comes in mid way thru and runs the table. And finishes off the World Champs to seal the deal. That's a headline your NEVER gonna read.

Jordan Staal is a very nice #3 centre, but he will never be an all star. He is a defensive forward with an average scoring touch and below average passing skills. The Pens have two great forwards, not three top lines. Now, in Pittsburgh's defence, these forwards are >>that<< good that whoever plays with them is automatically an offensive threat.

This should be a great matchup between one team that relies completely on two players, and another that would not be here if not for their depth.

So Fluery will not be a factor in the series?

>and another that would not be here if not for their depth.

Wow. Depth only? Coaching? 6 time Norris winner, 2 Selke candidates don't come into play here at all? All that Stanley Cup experience? LOL!

You can do better than that PTB.

You must be in a hurry.

In fact Crosby and Malkin were split up for a lot of the series last time around.

Sorry, I forgot Lidstrom leading them to victory in Games 4 and 5. I forgot Datsyuk's Conn Smythe performance in the 2009 playoffs.

Pittsburgh rolled over a very good Washington team, mainly by skating in waves and waves. It finally tired out the Caps in the final game. The ONLY reason it wasn't a sweep was Varlamov and Ovechkin.

They were a bit shaky at times against the Flyers but chalk that up to the rivalry and the fact the Flyers are a tough-nosed team. The series was still over in 6, closed it in Philly despite being down 3 goals.

They smoked Carolina and though the scorelines and point totals can lead you to believe that they are a two-man show, it's more a testament to how MUCH they are doing and not how little the rest of the team is doing.

Pittsburgh is much deeper than you guys are giving credit for...Babcock may get a game, but coaching plays much less of a role in the post season, especially the finals than the regular season and early rounds.

I would've come back had I lost, but I won, so I'm definitely back. They didn't win in 6, but I still cashed:
