You couldn't be more wrong.

ISIS was "completely decimated" under President Bush.

Under Obama? grown as much as 4,400%

[ISIS] was, you know, pretty much decimated when US forces were there in Iraq. It had maybe 700-or-so adherents left. And then it grew quite a bit in the last several years, when it split then from al-Qaida in Syria, and set up its own organization.

Look at how many people are there now:

The terror group that calls itself the Islamic State "can muster between 20,000 and 31,500 fighters across Iraq and Syria," a CIA spokesman told CNN on Thursday.

All you do is repeat this dumb talking point.

It's pretty simple as has been pointed out many times. The war itself has led to ISIS. The Status Forces Agreement that Bush made, where he left no US troops behind, has given rise to ISIS. Obviously since the troop withdrawal was after Bush left office, of course the growth is there under Obama. Anyone who can follow the rise of ISIS clearly sees this.

Whatever led to the "rise of Isis" isn't relevant as ISIS wasn't barnstorming through Iraq & Syria during the Bush Presidency.

Obama chose to remove troops from Iraq and bragged about it. Obama chose not to re-negotiate the SOFA. That was his decision.

These facts are continually pointed out to you and you respond with the same talking point.

Hilarious.

Perhaps you can explain why ISIS wasn't barnstorming through Syria, Iraq and gunning down people in France when Bush was President? Maybe ISIS just coincidentally decided to wait until the 6th year of the Obama Presidency to become such a problem?

You don't do anything but repeat what are frankly stupid talking points on this topic.

^ Note the huge spike after 2011. Guess what happened in December 2011?

The "Javee team" went from "contain" defense to West Coast Offense?

By the way, President Bush said this would all happen if America picked an arbitrary date to leave Iraq. Liberals, including Obama, snickered.

Bush was 100% correct and this is all Obama's fault.

Ummmmm.....Bush was responsible for withdrawal in Iraq and not leaving forces there. I can bump the thread again where Willie tells us about it.

Blaming Obama for not renegotiating a Bush deal is comical to me. How much more must Obama fix that he fucked up?

No he wasn't since Obama inherited an Iraq with 10's of thousands of troops. You seem to be claiming that the SOFA couldn't be re-negotiated. The agreement was supposed to be renegotiated eventually, to provide a long-term presence with U.S. troops in a different role

Bush strategy:

"Our strategy is this: We will fight them over there so we do not have to face them in the United States of America"

Obama strategy:

You're agreeing that pulling troops out of Iraq led to the spike in terrorism. Obama pulled the troops out. It was his decision. He bragged about it.

Nobody is saying it was up to Obama to "fix" anything. He could have extended the agreement. He chose not to and bragged about it. It is Obama's fault.

Setting 2011 as the end of the United States’ military role, officials had said the deadline was set for political reasons, to put a symbolic end to the occupation and establish Iraq’s sovereignty. But there was an understanding, a senior official here said, that a sizable American force would stay in Iraq beyond that date.

Always finding a way to blame Obama. If bush knew this would happen, why did he agree to the date of a troop withdrawal and no forces left behind? This was a Bush fuck up and has led to the chaos of what we have today. Entering Iraq, which Obama opposed, was a catastrophic decision and then his agreement when he ended the war was equally bad.

Not only that, Obama is denying that his strategy isn't working. He is pretending he is blameless and shouting about widows & orphans.

Because he wanted to be seen by the Muslim world as not an occupier of a Muslim country.

Again, this was always understood to be re-negotiated. Obama chose not to and bragged about how smart he was. Obama did this, it is all his fault.

4,000% + growth in ISIS on Obama's watch....

BUSH!!!!

:):)

Without the Iraq war and the status forces agreement.....ISIS is nothing. You guys can't seem to grasp that.

Of course the rise of ISIS came when US troops left. That was the agreement bush made. It's pretty simple.

Saying it was understood that it will be renegotiated is a ridiculous excuse. Great bush leadership.....here you go Obama , fix my shitty deal.

Outrageous kicking the can stuff.

So in other words, Obama is such a shitty negotiator, or he didn't want any US troops in Iraq, and it all fell apart.

Saying "it was Bush's agreement!!!" is meaningless as it was well known by Obama when he took office that this would be an issue he would have to work to resolve. Obama made a choice, and bragged about his choice, which was disastrous.

FACT: President Obama kept his promise to end the war in Iraq. Romney called the decision to bring our troops home “tragic.”

Obama had more than 2 years to address this. It was a matter of public record while Obama was a Senator when the SOFA expired.

It wasn't "a shitty deal" you're just flailing now.

Pretending Obama couldn't re-negotiate this is silly. It is excuse making.

Obama ran in 2008 on ending the war, said Iraq was stable & self-reliant, and "ended" the war. He bragged about it. This is all his fault. All of it.
