According to OpenSecrets.org

the Top four 527s from 2004 were all Democratic supporters. They spent more than 250 millions dollars supporting Democrats.

So when one argues there was more money spent by the Democrats than the Republicans in 2004, that's a stone cold lock of a fact. There is no room for dispute.

There was a discussion in another thread about who spent more money in 2004. Your boys argued the Republicans did since Bush spent more than Kerry. I argued the difference in third party money, read 527s, dwarfed the difference between the two candidates.

Whining has nothing to do with it, just correcting more lefty inaccuracies.

If you can find a complaint by me, please do point it out. Thank you :103631605

Oh! I missed it because it said a group of conservative veterans rather than a group of billionaire Republicans.

My comments here

a) Candidate money is worth more because you get discounted ad rates & control the message.

b) Party money is worth the next most....because at least they share the same message for the most part

c) A lot of these 527's on the Dems side were borderline retarded in their spending. They absolutely pissed away money...some were jokes. So many different messages....different ideas.....no consistency in message or medium...this is generally the norm on the left.

Too much money spread around...Obama stopped that for the most part and seems to be in control of most of it. His dollar is probably worth 1.25 of McCain's because he gets to control the whole message and spending. As a candidate unless I'm controlling the message...the money is almost meaningless because you're counting on the effectiveness of someone else....some are effective though (Swift Boats, etc)...but too much unknown to depend on it.

Fighting lefty ignorance with facts...it's a never ending battle.

Now lets hear all the "yeah buts"...:103631605
