My buddy (contractor) just brought his pc over for me to look at.
He's infected with ThinkPoint.

This is one nasty virus.
Anyone ever encounter this?
If so, what did you do?

All the normal remedies fail.

I never got this but these viruses are easy to take out if you follow the instructions.


Just do this, go into safe mode, run Rkill from a USB drive, make sure you have malwarebytes already on your computer if not download it on the USB card.

Once in safe mode, run rkill and then run malwarebytes.
