Florida one of the best places to live in USA. I moved here about ten years ago from Midwest and now both my brothers and mother are moving or living here. I live in Orlando area and only negative is traffic and sweating out hurricanes. Four in four weeks hopefully a fluke. Heat is way overrated. You spend most your time indoors whereever you live. Life is much better in Sunshine. It has been kind of cold here lately. Lows in 50's.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Don't Come. I have lived in FLORIDA since 1945 and it SUCKS! TOO many illegal aliens. Go to any Wal Mart in Fl and it will be overrun with illegals. If you must come to Fl, take Fishs advice and move to the west coast or S FL. If not those areas, I will meet you at the state line and take appropriate action. LT
Thanks for the reply's. We have been wanting to move for a long time now, but the time hasn't been right....we were both born and raised in this same town called NORMAL believe it or not. We are so sick of this shiithole, and hate our jobs.
Finally we decided to just say "whatever", we are young, let's just go. Without jobs, without anything planned. Pick somewhere and go. The only regret I have is not doing this sooner.
Hopefully we will pick a spot that we will love. I think we are kind of leaning towards something close to Tampa right now cause of some of your reply's.

BTW, I went to ILLINOIS STATE IN NORMAL and stayed an extra year there after getting my business degree there dealing dice at the PAR-A-DICE in Peoria. The hardrock down here is allways hiring for a quick job, but business is expanding all over the area. Come down as you can allways go back home and it would be like nothing changed if you go back. You have everything to gaina nd nothing to lose, it was one of the best things i ever did.

I cannot imagine a better place in the Tampa area for raising a family........but agian, maybe I am slightly biased because I live in this area.
You will just have to look around yourself..............Wesley Chapal is a nice area also, which is 5 miles north of me..........VERY MIDWEST LIKE.

bought a home in deltona 1.5 year ago and sold it and made 40k. just bought a home in lake wales/winter haven this month cheap and have at least 30 k profit already.
BUY REAL ESTATE NOW IN FLA. homes are appreciating over 20-30 percent each year.
there is no supply of homes and buyers are getting what ever they ask.
personally ill be here in winter haven for about a year. this place is sloowwwww. but ill be buying and staying in fla.

I once went to the PUBII for 120 straight days back in the day, I had to go to a house party on day 121 and couldn't make it in. Once my mom called Shanigan's and asked for me at the bar from Chicago when she needed something important. When they come I need them to bring 2 gondola's from Avanti's, a Michaeleo's pizza, a LA BAMBA burrito and some PUB cheese balls. LOL
