B.C -2.5

I have already played this one and here's why:

1. Unranked home team favored over ranked Hokies.(look at last nights BYU game)
2. V.T is being backed as a dog because "CLEARLY" they should be favored
3. V.T offense is too one dimensional. This team avergaes 174 Rushing yards per game compared to 118 passing yards.
4.WR Ike Whitaker is suspended...while Danny Coalebecomes the top option and he has 12 receptions so far this year.
5. Q.B t. Taylor has 1 pasiing T.D total for the year.
6. B.C defense is allowing less than 100 yards rushing per game at 99.8.

Both defenses create T/O's so there is no clear advantage.

not playing the game but I don;t think I would put a whole lot of worth in the stats. The best team BC has beaten this year is 2-4 NC STate.Combined record of D1 teams they have beaten is 5-13.

I like BC, but Taylor is tough to contain... that being said: When they came down to Nebraska we almost beat them if it wasn't for a couple poorly-timed penalties down the stretch- and Nebraska aint that good.

MPN.....since you're from Cali, Do you think it would be wise for me to play on Zona or can you talk me out of my play.

As long as Zona can stop the run this week I feel they can win.

People say this stuff every week yet that always win as a dog.

I never stated that this wins all the time which can be true for the opposite,so you saying the dog always win is not true.

I am saying this is a good angle to play but you must still break down the match ups.

I never EVER make a bet blindly based on a trend or stat.

Nonetheless at least one of us will win this play.

I wish you luck on your card but not this play.

I've watched every BC game so far and 3 of the Hokies' games...you're right about our run D, it's very good, however our offense is pitiful. Don't let one good start by Crane fool you...

Oh and by the way ...check the rankings and the score from last nights BYU/ TCU game.

BC EAGLES.....Thanks for your input.
I think both teams have a better defense than the offenses they field.
The Eagles have a better run defense, while the edge against the pass goes to V.T.

The more I looked at these match ups, the more i like the under than the actual outcome. Both are official plays for me.

I agree that Crane will not repeat his performance from last game this week. V.T does not have a good pass attack so their run game will play into the strength of the Eagles.

Worthless Comments......this week 2-0 for the unranked teams.

My aim was to try to limit the V.T Hokies backers. You see I used to be one of those people that would say" what an easy pick .V.Tech is ranked ,they have a very good defense and they have the more experienced Q.B and they are getting points"

then I would dump a good chunk on V.T as my play of the week and my bet would end up in the toilet.

I also broke down the match ups , not just backing this angle/trend.

Congrats to those that may have layed off the Hokies but also to those who backed the Eagles.
