thats a good point, or atleast get one paid in full and then only carry liability, really makes a difference

also you could go back to dialup:)

Yeah, the big thing is buying a car that you can actually afford to pay for without a car payment. Car payments will kill ya. I have a friend who always complains about not having any money, yet every couple of years she swaps out her car for a newer one with a more expensive car payment. :howdy:

Clip Coupons, some Supermarkets also give Double Coupons.

Where's Fishhead when you Need him :think2:

Not only clip coupons, but watch for SALES.

Then what you can do is buy the ITEM on sale with the coupon.

For example, Arm and Hammer Deoderant, buy 3 get $3 off coupon. This paricular deoderant is on sale at my local drug store this weekend for $1.50. Now when you add the coupon and get 3 you are now getting it for 50 cents a piece.

Havent bought toilet paper in over 3 years. If I see a fresh roll ill take it. Typically at my local bar. Also any condiments such as ketchup/mustard etc. I take from restaurants as well. Its not really stealing, they are giving it away.

How do you steal TP at a bar ? Where are you putting this roll ?

Always the situation you are in you need to cut as much as possible. When I lost my job I was able to get unemployment and the Wife is the real earner anyway. We still cut things that we could do without.

Stop buyin fast food. Buy some hotdogs mac and cheese pasta and chicken breast. Bread is cheap. Don't buy ant junk food and it will save you money and you will be happy not to eat that junk anyway.

Hell I can't find a cookie in this damn house to save my life. I sneak some when at the gas station. The wife has never looked better.

One way to save huge money is to maximize the points sytems at various grocery stores, drug stores, and with credit cards. I get back at least 3% of everything i buy with credit card rebates.

I get 2% with purchases made on my COSTCO american express, then I pay that card off with my Canadian Tire mastercard and it gives me another 1%.

do this a lot, I got a bunch (50) of these enjoy the city books for a buck each and each one has 4 five dollar off coupons good at Publix and Winn Dixie here in FLA.

also when eating out I look for kids eat free, having an 8 and 5 year old.
Look for groupon and living social deals for attractions, restaurants, and hotels as well.

Never download a CD (unless its an independent artist who i am supporting) or a movie - just DL them all.

How much money do you think grocery shopping saves over fast food? I haven't gone to the grocery store in about 6 months but fast food isnt expensive and i dont cook so even when i grocery shop - i end up just getting snacks. Anyone think its really worth it to start grocery shopping to save money (please ignore the health factor)

About dropping your landline phone service, I don't know why I don't do this. I hardly use my landline but for some reason I think I need it. Only people who call my landline are telemarketers in which I don't answer anyways.
