Make the stupidest decisions i have ever seen....

And mind you, I like Dick Vermeil, but to punt from the opp's 34 yard line, with 4th and 4, trailing by 3....

Of course the kicker kicks it straight into the endzone, so they gain a whopping 14 yards.....

You are suppose to have one of the best offenses in the game, and you have the best back in the NFL, but u dont go for it on 4th and 4, so u can gain 14 yards of field position.....

If your defense is so bad that you are afraid to go for it, then u will give up that 14 yards on the next play....

If your defense is so good that you want to pin them back, then giving them the ball at the 34 shouldnt be a "game ender".......

Not to mention that you should be able to get 4 yards with your offense.....

Bad Decision, i just hope it doesnt cost us the game.....:breakit:

Any of them that choose to go for 2 point conversions with almost a complete half left in a game show very quickly how intelligent they are(or aren't!). Just because someone is an NFL head coach and knows that aspect of football obviously doesn't make him the brightest guy in the world.:neenee:

Well i shouldnt have griped, cuz they came back and scored a touchdown, but of course, since they are favored by 2.5, so they MISS the extra point....to lead by 2....

I think i have already mentioned my luck with kickers and extra points this year, it just continues...

They said it is the FIRST MISSED EXTRA POINT in the nfl this year.....

Sometimes i wonder if it isnt just time to give up....I mean that is just brutal...

JJ is correct. Coaches play "not to lose" instead of "playing to win".

what kills me - especially in college - is coaches at the end of the game who are losing, have timeouts left - and don't call them on defense to stop the clock - choosing to save them for the offense. this is beyond stupid since the offense controls the clock and at the end of the game when your team is losing - timeouts should be used by the defense.
