I remember when people would say that about guys who opened a chain of beeper/pager stores. Wow, how did that work out? Anyone use them now besides Doctors? Think last time I had one was 1997 or 1998

Don't even think doctors use them anymore
been to hospital bunch of times over the past 12 months (not for me, as parent or visitor) and have seen lots of doctors with them. Not sure if they are for something else, or work differently then back in the day, but they have something that at least looks just like a beeper.

Had a sports pager from 1993 to 2002......I remember the ESPN sports phone coming out & I was thinking of getting it, but didn't......& now, no one needs them.except maybe doctors.

Smart phones basically can do everything possible now a day's that a computer can do.

How about Vape Stores? They are popping up all over the place! It's a fad and they will all be out of business within a couple of years!

Agree! I am sitting in my office right now and there is one right above my head. I cannot imagine how they are surviving!

I saw some story that Jadavion Clowney was opening a vape store somewhere. What an idiot! First off, it makes you look like a complete tool. Second, are there enough people doing it to open an entire store? And not just 1 store...but a shit load of them! They are literally (it seems) on every other corner now (I've been working in the Hampton Roads/Tidewater/Va Beach area). I just laugh and shake my head.

I read that too, though I forget where. It said he doesn't even vape, just thought it was a good investment.

funny, does ANYONE still use those restaurant pagers?
Every restaurant here with a wait does, including the big chains like Cheesecake Factory, Applebee's (yuck), TGIF, you name it... They look like coasters and still light up in circles of red dots. With that being said, I've never been to a restaurant that text your phone for the pager service, and that's a good thing IMO.

More then even vape stores is car washes .

Me and a friend almost made a huge mistake about 4 years ago by opening a car wash.

Since then they open a new one every week.

Wtf.

There are probably 1 car wash for every 50
cArs at this point it's crazy. No way all those care ashes will survive. Way too many now.

Yes most restaurants down here either have the coaster thing you talk about or they get your number and send you a text on phone
