Disgusting or not, the quotes are the truth. The jets have no viable option to replace Sanchez

They are not the truth at all. The guy starts in Denver last year and takes them on a historic run and even upset a heavily favored Pittsburgh.

If it was John Skelton that did the same thing would you call him terrible?

Serious question...

Would you swap Wilson for Tebow now if you had the chance? The Broncos won in spite of him not because of him - look at how well they are doing with a real quarterback now. If you look at him objectively he is very average at best...two or three flashes of brilliance in a few games won't define his career.

What's interesting is that Tim Tebow reminds me a lot lot lot of Doug Flutie... Who wanted him? But he won and in clutch situations he was a clutch player. I really think Doug Flutie was one of the better quarterbacks, but he went from bad team to bad team and I am sure he wasn't the reason they were bad teams. He was considered a 2nd tier quarterback, so he got sent to middling to poor teams.

Tebow, if he keeps after it, will be one of the better quarterbacks in the league, akin to the one of my favorites, yes, Doug Flutie.

The difference is Flutie was a helluva passer. He had an excellent arm and was accurate both in the pocket and on the run. Tebow is a pure crap passer.

I honestly don't think Tebow is a good QB either but what I can't deny is he wins games and if my team sucks (like the Jets do) then I wouldn't care who was back at QB as long as we won and that's what Tebow brings to the table. It's just undeniable.

I mean really are you comparing P Manning to T. Tebow? That's kind of absurd. He is average at best but he wins so to call him terrible isn't accurate in my book. He's far from terrible.

Think of it this way: Rex Ryan is looking at the very great likelihood of losing his job unless something amazing happens during the rest of the season. He MUST have wins in order to still be the head coach next season. He is at the point of desperation, but even at the point where he simply must have wins to save his job, he still has Mark Sanchez starting over Tebow. The coach who seems them practice every day -- not to mention the teammates quoted in that article -- know he's not even as good as perhaps the worst starter in the league.

I guess I would say unless he actually starts a game behind center then they don't know if he'll win games or not. I guess my question would be what do they have to lose?
