Are flat out disgusting.

"Several unnamed players, in a New York Daily News story, were critical of Tebow's ability as a quarterback. One player said Tebow is "terrible." Another player told ESPNNewYork.com the team has no choice but to stick with the slumping Mark Sanchez because "we have no other viable option."

Who would do shit like this? I actually have a lot of respect for guard Matt Slauson who in the story said Sanchez is much better than Tebow and put his name to the quote at least.

If I were Ryan, I'd run these guys for an hour straight and wouldn't care how many of them bitched and moaned.

Mike Greenberg made a good point this morning. He said despite what you may think of him as a QB, you have to give the guy respect for showing up each day and working his ass off to be the best he can be. Give him respect for being a great teammate, role model and hard worker that is trying to improve his craft and stop throwing a guy like that under the bus.

The anonymous quotes are chickenshit. Those players should worry about themselves instead of criticizing others. Nobody on that team has set the woods on fire this year...nobody.

Tebow is the least of their problems. He probably works harder than anyone on the team.

Tebow is not the reason they are losing, its weird how much attention this guy gets. Especially for not even trying

Tebow beat the Jets last year. If this so called "terrible" QB beat the Jets what does that say about the Jets defense?

Don't understand all the media hype about Sanchez being better....it doesn't get worse than the dirty. At least throw Tebow in so the jets can win a few games.

That's the best point made on this thread. I agree that it's weird. You don't see anything remotely close to this for any other backup. Hell, there are a lot of starting qb's that don't get this much attention.

I suspect that Tebow’s overt obsession with god has alienated quite a few of his teammates.

It’s one thing to be religious but it's another to wear it on your sleeve.

The Jets should have drafted Russell Wilson

Skip Bayless....a staunch Tebow supporter.....had a lot of stats to show that Tebow should be a starter. They probably have the comments on ESPN's website under :First Take".

He is terrible, but no one can deny his work ethic. The Jets problems go way further than him though - he hasn't been the contributing factor in any of their losses so far as I can tell.

Hopefully he can start again, he really is terrible. Any NFL scout would you tell this.....

Terrible as a pocket QB, but just use him at his strengths. Tebow is a good athlete. Do 1 pass for every 5 runs and he will probably do alright

What's interesting is that Tim Tebow reminds me a lot lot lot of Doug Flutie... Who wanted him? But he won and in clutch situations he was a clutch player. I really think Doug Flutie was one of the better quarterbacks, but he went from bad team to bad team and I am sure he wasn't the reason they were bad teams. He was considered a 2nd tier quarterback, so he got sent to middling to poor teams.

Tebow, if he keeps after it, will be one of the better quarterbacks in the league, akin to the one of my favorites, yes, Doug Flutie.

Just my take,

tulsa
