Outstanding job everybody and congrats to the champ trytrytry. It was quite a battle right up until the end.

Y'all did a nice job coming up with those 6-0's and 5-1's when needed.

Special thanks to JOH for all of his hard work on this.

I'm ready for next year already. At least we still have the NFL.

Will there be a bowl contest by any chance?

Great job JOH. I thought a 4-2 or 5-1 could put me in the top 5. Go 4-2 and almost lose ground haha. Fun contest like always!

How about all bowl games ATS for $100 buyin?

this would be glorious. Are all picks due at once or how would the schedule work? 1 week before all games?

"trytrytry" Wins 4th Annual Hilton Style CFB Contest
6-0 Finish Nips 'thekeyman' for Come From Behind Victory

Kudos to "trytrytry", as he becomes our 4th Annual College Football Hilton Style Handicapping Contest winner. Finishing with a flourish, he swept the board and needed every point to edge out runner-up 'thekeyman' by a half point and collects $2600 for his efforts. thekeyman did not go down without a fight, ending the week with a 5-1 mark. His 14-4 record over the L3 weeks was best overall but not quite enough to gain high honors. He settles for a $1300 payout. Bloker and bucknuts will share 3rd & 4th place money ($552.50 each) thanks to a nice rally by bucknuts, gaining 3 points on Bloker in the final week. ECC #2 rounds out the top 5, and picks up $325. Also cashing were #6 Captain Lee ($292.50), #7 Enfuego ($260), #8-9 drega09 & powerz ($211.25 each) and sharing the 10th spot are TNVOLFAN and knickfan ($97.50 each). As usual, lets not forget Betallsports, our trusty banker, who keeps this contest on the up & up every year and this year was no different. The 4th Annual Hilton Style CFB Contest was our biggest and best yet. Here's hoping the growth continues as we anticipate records will fall again in 2017. Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to everyone for their contributions.

The one I usually play in each year requires all picks at once before the start of the bowl season.

Thoughts JOH?

I'd like to congratulate TryTryTry on his first place finish in the 4th annual RX HILTON STYLE CFB SUPERCONTEST.This was a very exciting year with several people moving up and down the standings making it a thrilling contest right til the end.

I'd like to thank JOH for the great job once again with doing all the lines, standings, and point figures as always. He is very dedicated to having things done right and that is why this contest works so well.

Also a big thanks to BETALLSPORTS for running this contest once again and keeping the financial part in order by dealing with MO's,Checks,etc,....he is a good banker,...lol,..but honestly this contest is a lot of work and these guys deserve a lot of thanks.

I would also like to thank everyone who entered the contest, as the nice number of good handicappers we had made this contest much tougher as you had to do a little extra capping to keep up with everybody....I hope the people watching this contest for the 13 weeks it ran saw how much fun it is and decide to enter next year.

Congrats to all the other people who collected in the contest, and i used the word people in place of winners because,we are all winners who competed each and every week in this contest.

I know, huh?

47-30-1 though, nice work. Amazing to see how much difference a few plays on the field in games can make, in this contest, over the course of a season.

Fantastic Season Keyman. I thought you had got it with that UTAH WR making that insanely great catch in the Endzone with about 1:39 left, to secure the Cover vs. Colorado. I'd lost track of Tryx3's situation so at that time I was:

"Holy Moly, thats how he won it?!?!"

Shrewd Calls on Old Dominion to cover that -13.5 and especially USF - 10, with their "Defense." I didn't think anyone above me would be Brave enough to take that one :toast:

We've done a few different formats in past years... last year I thought went over well, where you pick the winners straight up for all games and also the Margin of Victory. Most winners with smallest overall MOV serving as the tiebreaker.

Also, we've done a Rank the Bowls format where you give confidence points for all games and most points wins.

A couple years running, we used a ranking system where you were limited in what rank you selected so the total of the ranks could not be more than a pre-determined number.

ATS for all games is a possibility. I'm all ears.

wasn't a fan of the format last year. would prefer a confidence style pool or simply straight up ATS..just my 2 cents

My experience with all ATS over the last five or so years has been good. Very tight every year and every game really matters.
