It’s easy! Just make a minimum of 220 Money line (ML) or Total plays (Max 4 plays per day) throughout the NHL regular season, sit back, watch the games, and WIN!
BetJamaica will be adding a 20% cash bonus to the prize pool as a sweetener for the contest.
How it Works:
• Make a minimum of 220 Money Line (ML) or Total plays (max 4 plays per day) throughout the NHL regular season. (There is no maximum number of plays).
• Choose your games from the "Live Lines" available at The Greek (Link Posted in Picks Thread)**
• Post your selections in the “Picks Thread” exactly as instructed. Players will all be using the same set of lines. There will be detailed instructions on exactly how to post plays in the daily picks thread.
• Plays will be graded based on a win amount of 100 when selecting favorites and a risk amount of 100 when selecting underdogs.
• This contest will run 7 days a week. No days off.
• Daily Picks Threads will be posted 7 days in advance in the NHL Forum, usually on Mondays.
• Contest will be held in the NHL room/section of the site found HERE.
• Contest begins Tuesday, October 13th and runs thru April 11, 2010.
• For the last week of the contest (Apr 5-11), you will be allowed to PM your plays to JOH™, preventing any cloning or fading of plays. PM's are preferable over emails, but if email is the only option, use JOH.RX.3701@gmail.com.
How To Enter:
STEP 1. Open an account with BetJamaica.com by clicking HERE (You MUST click through this link to be eligible for prizes.) If you already have an account at BetJamaica.com, continue to Step 2.
STEP 2. Post up your account with a minimum of $300 USD, If you already have a funded BetJamaica account you can proceed to step 3.
STEP 3. Send an email to banking@betjm.com asking them to transfer $300 USD from your account to holding account # (8901) for the "RX NHL Post Up contest".
STEP 4. Once the funds have been removed from your account fill out this form:
Contest is closed.
STEP 5. Sign this thread indicating that you have followed steps 1-4 and you are in the contest.
Prizes:
1st Place ...... $2,510 (58.1%) .... $2092 Cash + $418 Rollover (1x)
2nd Place ..... $1,230 (28.5%) .... $1025 Cash + $205 Rollover (1x)
3rd Place ........ $580 (13.4%) ...... $483 Cash + $97 Rollover (1x)
*There is no rollover to the 'Cash' portion of the contest. The 20% BONUS portion ($720) that BetJamaica is adding must be rolled over 1X.
Rules and Regulations:
• One entry per member, per household, per IP address.
• Only one post with your selections per day. Maximum 4 plays per day.
• The correct Rotation # is required with each play. Plays can be posted in any order.
-Grading is done by rotation number. If a play is posted without a rotation number, it will be graded as follows:
(1) Graded a push if the outcome is a win.
(2) Graded a loss if the outcome is a loss.
-In any case where a rotation number and a team name do not match, the rotation number will take precedence and the line posted will no doubt represent a BAD LINE in relation to the rotation number posted.
If a BAD LINE is posted which favors the player, the play will be graded according to the outcome of the game:
(1) If the play is on a favorite and wins, it will be graded a push. If it loses, it will be graded using the correct line at the time of the post. (Line history will be used at SBR Live Lines).
(2) If the play is on a dog and wins, it will be graded a push. If it loses, it will be graded a loss of (100 + the difference between the player's bad line and the actual line) at the time of post. For example, a player posts a favorable line of +125 and the actual line determined to be +120, a difference of 5. If the play's outcome is a loss, the rule would call for a grade of -105 (loss of 100 + 5).
3) If the bad line posted does not favor the player, there will be no adjustment and the play will be graded as posted.
How to Play:
EXAMPLE OF HOW TO POST PLAYS:
8 Washington Capitals UNDER 6½ +110
11 Pittsburgh Penguins +115
11 Pittsburgh Penguins OVER 5½ -120
13 Columbus Blue Jackets +120
-Notice how rotation number is included.
-Notice how its not necessary to put two rotation numbers for over/unders... Use the correct corresponding rotation number.
-REFRESH YOUR GREEK ODDS "F5" right before posting your plays, to make sure there are no changes.
• Deadline to post will be 5 minutes prior to POSTED start time of first game on your playlist. If any plays are posted past the deadline, they will be graded as follows:
(1) Graded a push if the outcome is a win.
(2) Graded a loss if the outcome is a loss.
• Players will be allowed to use TheRX.com 5 minute edit window to edit typos, or mistakes. Any edit made after 5 minutes will result in ALL plays being graded either a push for a win or a loss for a loss.
• The RX Clock is the official clock for this contest.
• During the course of the contest, from time to time, the contest moderators will be required to make a judgment call or rule on a situation, their ruling will be final and will not be open for debate.
• Disputes or any unforeseen circumstances will be mediated by Wilheim & TheRx.com management whose decision will be final in the matter.
• TheRX.com and Betjamaica.com reserve the right to change, add or delete any rule.
• Betjamaica.com rules regarding the grading of NHL will be the prevailing grading rules.
• If there is ever a conflict in the rules, the contest Moderator will have to make a judgment call, that judgment call is final.

** You must post the current line at The Greek at the time of your post. You may not use an earlier line, and you cannot use a different line after you have posted your selection. Each contestant should monitor his opponents and any bad line posted should be brought to the attention of the group in the Picks Thread that night. As an option, if you notice someone posting an incorrect line, you may remain anonymous and PM JOH™ with the details.
