Quick question...

What book's opener is logged as the opener?

I really like this feature - keep up the good work!

Just one small thing - since Rio's opening lines are put up a good deal later than Olympic's, Pinnacle's and CRIS's, wouldn't they be misleading since Rio adjusts their numbers according to what the other book's action has driven the true opening numbers to? For example, if the Pacers game total opened at, say, 188 and was bet down to 186 before Rio posted a line, wouldn't it be misleading in an absolute sense?

Don Best uses CRIS as the opening line by default. Probably for the reasons that Jazz stated.

Yeah, I just checked the numbers - for all intents and purposes, while it doesn't hurt to show Rio's opening lines, it doesn't tell you what you're looking for, which is movement from the 'true' opening line. Take the Twolves total, for example - it was opened at 186.5 at Olympic yet Rio shows they opened at 183.5, which is where the number is now.

Don't get me wrong, I like Rio, but I don't see what the usefulness of this number is since in the example above you completely miss the 3 point move downward. Which of course is the only purpose for showing an opener in the first place, to gauge what kind of movement there has been.

Jazz,

I understand your concern but personally, I am much more interested in the LATE moves so RIO'S openings are good for my needs...

Also, some of those early opening lines are worthless since they move it on the first bet...

Jazz,
Excellent point regarding the opener. I'll talk to Ken about this.

Also, we've fixed the intertops feed. Sfeiner pointed the error out yesterday.

Ken,
I have to disagree. The late moves are indicated by the shading. These occur near gametime, so in effect this would make Rio's openers only valuable for the last 30 minutes before kickoff .. the other 6 days, 23 hours & 30 minutes have a less meaningful opener IMO.

The only solution here is ... RIO needs to originate the line
