Along with phrases like "trust me" and "stand up guy" being
1053174822.gif
maybe it can actually refer to someone who makes decisions. It didn't matter how good of guys they are if they aren't in charge. The marketing department has never ever been "the guys behind this book".

If you look past the fact that they haven't gotten through a foots season you are still left with the fact that this book was recommended based on we know the guys who know the guys who are employed by the investors who run the book. which is what people should be pissed about. This being a forum book, players atleast expect the name dropping to adhere to someone on the top floor.

Yes maybe they should be responsible for making the decision themselves ultimately but therx should atleast give some relevant info.

I agree, Dozer - but from now on the problem for the Shrink will be that quote of his: I think few people will find future recommendations by the Shrink of any book worthwhile with respect to posting up there, simply because of the 'fact' that panam has gone 'fishing'. Meaning, the Shrink's word on a book will have no real credibility, inasmuch as getting people to sign up. I'm not saying that out of meanness, I'm stating it simply from a rational point of view.

Jazz,
I disagree. The turn over rate of posters is too high and this is nothing a little damage control can't fix for a site like this with a big bank roll....
and you and I would be long banned before any deserved ball busting did any real damage.

Kinda sad..
If a site like this went with the top books over long term they might be just as profitable and those books, players and industry would be stronger.

But as long as McDonalds is offering those mini cheap ass burgers for a buck, Burger King will have their shitty dollar menu and so on..

"slow down boys and lets see how this book does down the road. "

jjgold gets another one right

he should be allowed back, hell he was the only guy out of everyone to question them in this thread.
he might be a pain in the ass but he advised people to not get carried away.

Bill, I only meant for those who are here, not those who will come. Unless the entire lot of current posters were banned, someone would speak up I would hope. Again, not out of being an asshole but injecting reality into any such topic. The issue here is not whether someone got something wrong, the issue is the process of using one's credibility as a marketing tool, and that can succeed only as far as one total failure, which panam is seemingly reaching to be. Thereafter, at least for those who are aware of these facts, the Shrink's credibility can no longer be used that way, unless of course your surmisal is correct. No harm in him recommending books, but a blanket personal statement will have no weight.

Jazz,
I agree with the should but would bet on the won't.

There are enough people here to turn on the thread creating turbos when a point comes up to make it go away. Plus the personality of the actions are still a bunch of nice guys. Only a few scorned in the wallet will care and probably won't post.

They would really be swimming against the current to try to speak out next time. Really JMO.

and...
Don't forget the GA thing which was practically yesterday. People were told to stop crying when they were bailed out with another rollover req. If that didn't do it..nothing was going to.

and to go one further ....

WTF is ROYAL doing up there now?

The most anyone can muster for praise is "i think they are getting their shit together" or "they are going back to greatness".

A book with annual slow pays and 2 mos removed is on NO ONES top 20 list even if an individual uses them persaonally.

What do we know about ROYAL? Roberto was a standup guy? King did a great job at Homebets? It was so great Marty left?

Who the fack are these guys running that place? You know? I don't.

BHB? bunch of good guys but should you tout an ONLINE book that doesn't have an IT department and is moving to the same unproven gov Panam just showed doesnt work?

Dear Bill,

Having had the pleasure of talking to you once I wonder why and for which purpose you feel appropriate to mention my name in this thread , as I have no recollection of ANY pending complaint that concerns me, directly or indirectly .

I understand you are indeed striving to make your way in the Golden World of Online Gambling yet I believe your lack of respect is not helping your cause, unless you are planning to copycat 911. Even in that case I shall point out that he ( Chris ) has indeed some understanding about what is going on in this industry , although he seems to victimize himself with his blinding agendas from time to time, whereas you seem to be in the initial part of the learning curve.

There's no such thing as "standup guys" . Either people running books are professionals or not. Their track record ( not their friendships )speaks for them . I can vouch for Kevin having knowledge of his professional record, I may not for the other individual you mention as he has worked for me and I have chance to appreciate his lack of professionalism.

Nevertheless,as I am not planning to return to Royal nor I am planning to establish a relationship with you, I'd greatly appreciate if you could please avoid mentioning my name.

Thank you.

Roberto
