id be hesitant to bring him back since he'd be rusty and team is playing so good now, but his talent is undeniable. all star PG and another 3 point threat, another body out there.

tough call for orlando if the reports are correct.

Dude, how sick would the Magic be if he was with them during these playoffs..

Jameer torched the Lakers in the two games during the regular season.

I wouldn't want him back if I was Orlando GM...you can't take a couple months off and then come back and be ready for the NBA finals as your first game back. Alston has played over his head and has more confidence than need be. It would be a terrible management move if they brought back Jameer and messed up this teams chemistry. They don't have the talent of Boston, they don't have the talent of CLE and they certainly don't have the talent of LA. They are winning because they are playing well together. Put a new guy in the mix and all that goes out the window

i agree, if they reached the finals with out him it is a gamble to bring him in now, especially a long term gamble if he isnt fully ready health wise, but it would be nice to the magic at full strength

i dont think it'd be smart to play him more than 10 minutes a game. he hasn't played in a while and could disrupt the flow that the magic have gained. he's a great player but if it was up to me, he wouldn't be playing until next season.

Not sure if its leaked yet but at the orlando magic staff meeting today, they said that jameer nelson will play at some point in the finals. This coming from my friend who is an employee for the magic.

He didnt say not to tell anyone lol.. not sure how "crazy" the news is..

Also... i got confirmation that he will be giving me tickets to either game 3 or 4 in orlando :) he also said that employees are able to purchase two tickets for friends/family for each game, debating wether to pick up a pair.

Nelson coming back won't matter. Now, if he was game and post season tested? Then maybe I'd blink.

It will be interesting, im thinking one of the games they will pop him in for a couple minutes and see how it feels and how the chemistry is.. probably looking to do it when they have a lead or some sort of cushion to test him out.. that is my guess.

why, its not like the guy is a bum. the guy was playing at top 5 PG level before he got injured.

So you bring a guy in who hasn't played in 5 months to control your team, when you are playing the best basketball you have ever played in your life?

Losing situation if you play him big minutes, not in shape, not in rythm. If I see Jameer Nelson in game #1. I like the Lakers to cover nearly every game!

Jameer Nelson might be the 4th best player on that team, I could understand if he was a premier player.

cant see him playing more than 5-10 min a game unless they needed him, but dont think those few minutes he is in there will hurt the team

not worth it for the Magic. This move could ruin the chemistry this team has developed. They are playing very well right now and should just keep the train moving. I mean honestly how much of an impact would Nelson have? Coming off injury, not in playoff game shape; just not worth it imo.

The word today from some Magic players is that Jameer will indeed be playing some & went through a full practice today.....

There's no reason he shouldn't come in for 10-15 min. off the bench. It's a game of runs, he could spark a couple good runs in the series that could be at important tmes. And if he's doesn't, he gave a guy a few min rest.

There is some talk that he might see the floor but honestly I am doubtful. I could see if our current PG was a bum but skip if playing good basketball and I don't think it would be too wise to try and play jameer and I don't think it will happen. Talk is cheap.
