It's just small margins we're dealing with, boys. A fine line between winning and losing.

sure there are, but there are good beats also, just rarely hear them mentioned (that's more their handicapping skills than a good beat, ha)

Sure there is. Ask Duke football team from 2015. Ask Oklahoma State football team from 2016. Those are bad beats.

Nope. Bama -10 was a bad beat because of the onside kick. Ole Miss +10 would have been a bad beat because of the late pick in fg range. Everything is a bad beat, therefore nothing is.

So, if you had Oklahoma St. on the ML how is it a bad beat for someone on the CMU side?

Didn't watch the game but obviously winning and losing either side was a pretty small margin and tons of plays came into play.

CB just picked off a Siemien pass in Denver and off for a pick 6 and just falls down with a hamstring injury.

If you have the 1H over, that's a bad beat.

And they're are bad beats, when something weird and unusual and extremely unlikely happens at the end

1H under bad beat. Pick 6's are a fluke and defenses controlled the entire half.

guess Indy at +7 was a good beat
My Colts +9.5 +110 was a great bet and I'd bet it again when I did. But shit happens, no use in crying about it, even though I was 97% to win on 3rd and 1.

Guys that make good bets with good discipline are the only ones that can win. If you make a good bet, you should have no regrets. Just go make another one.

if a team can mathematically kneel the ball to run the clock out but run instead and break a touchdown run that affects the spread or total. thats a bad beat

And guess what? None of us has any control over it and they don't give you back 50% of your bet if it was a "bad beat."
