I agree with NEWPORT, BUT BUT BUT.....getting your ass handed to you by the Rangers isn't what it used to be. The Rangers are much better and even last year (also a year the Yankees ALMOST made it to the World Series) the Yankees had trouble with the Rangers.
I'm just saying...I agree with NEWPORT but getting beat by the Rangers isn't necessarily the whole story. tulsa

I SAT TURMOIL over what the YANKEES are accustom to. They lost to the MArlins in the World Series, and the DIamondbacks before that.......and now get swept by the YANKEES......this is why I wrote the thread. The Media let the YANKS off the hook for losing to the Dbacks and the Marlins in the World Series because it was good for baseball, now the Redsox made them look like donkeys......and Arod is team break up if there ever was one........

New York papers are really putting pressure on Bronx Bombers, while the Mets have been just winning games.
Yanks entire starting staff other than Mike Mussina blow the big one. all of them i would never lay money on those starters right now.

I bet they'd like to have the money tied up in Giambi, Kevin Brown and 51 year old Mike Mussina, not to mention Bernie Williams. That's a lotta dough for the production they're getting from those 4.

Like a fast spinning wheel that develops a problem, this Yankee team is primed for catastrophic failure! I agree with you NEWPORT. And I also believe that your A-Rod 'curse' idea seems very justified! The Rangers sure have done better without him. Like you are saying, I too expect to see all sorts of stuff flying from the fan this year. tulsa
im a red sox fan but the bottom line is and u can go back to the royals run last year or the year before.at the end it is between the yanks and the red sox again.we all know this and yes its fun watching the yanks stumble but this stumble means they will need to run off 20 of 25 eventually and we all know they will.
